Yeah big up to Marvin and Snow and the rest of the crew back in the days in Ajax and Pickering. Came to Canada from Jamaica in 1988 met these guys and we became friends. Never forget were you came from thanks for the memories guys. A me man Marcus Respect 👊🏾. Reds ,Tyrone , Big Mikey , Dean , Ian, Dog Foot , Junior, Rev, and others give thanks!

What an amazing friendship between SNOW and PRINCE....I love seeing people to whom life was cruel, catch a break and use their uniqueness to reach the stars 🌠

I STILL jam to Snow today. I was just a teenager when his album came out and even my mom liked him! She was amazed I could understand the words and learn them lol.

I once had the honour and pleasure of meeting him and I have to say he is one the realest cats out there. He's very down to earth and humble if didn't know who he was you would never know he's a celebraty.

At the time he was accused of being a culture vulture, a poser like Vanilla Ice, but he never came out and promoted his street cred because he didn't care. He was actually a real one.

I'm sure I'm dating myself here but imagine if snow and bizzy bone did a track... I think their flows would go great together

Good old days when artists had to have talent to sing and write and be in the process of making the beats, and hustle to come on top

Most gangster rap artists are posers. The whole issue of authenticity and cultural appropriation is ridiculous. Every culture borrows from another! Informer and Ice Ice Baby stand on their own and are as good and authentic as most other rap music. My only complaint is that the whole genre of rap and hip hop tends to glorify misogyny, gang violence, consumerism and unbridled ego.

This video said it all, it's evident that Dj Prince is the one that made Snow who he is today.

Didn't know MC Shan was the producer behind Snow. What a great surprise.

Eminem busted into the rap scene with not just a skill, but a high performance level that arguably puts him with one of, if not, the greatest. Snow gets props; but you can't say the same about him. Dude was fucking up his life & thanks to di yardi dem, music became his saviour. Eminem was ALWAYS into his music & came up, paid dues & went through it. Snow started DJ-ing in jail & got put on after a trip to NY. Both had their respective come up stories, but they're two different stories and are NOT equal in their respective genres.... PERIOD!

Where SNOW grew up (Allenbury Gardens Public Housing, North York, Toronto) and where Keanu Reeves went to school (North Toronto Collegiate Institute) were actually VERY close to each other. Roughly 9 KM or 5.6 Miles !!

I remember seeing that arsenio Hall show live, also remember him doing a few others 90s we're lit.

Snow is probably more real and gangster than everyone in NWA except maybe for Eazy. The rest of them were sorta poseurs. Especially Ice Cube. Eazy is the only guy who lived the life fully.
