Drew, you said your KA Box is running "very hot." Upgrade to firmware 2.2.2. This resets target temp for more fan speed to 75 degrees vice 82 degrees presently in firmware 2.2.0 & 2.2.1. This adds more fan noise unfortunately, but keeps the miner cool. One of my newest KA Boxes came shipped with firmware 2.2.3, and that adjusted the fan curves once more. New target temp for that firmware is 80 degrees, but ramps the fan more appropriately as it achieves target temp, and runs much quieter than version 2.2.2. At the moment, GS doesn't have firmware 2.2.3 for download, but when they do make it available, I will upgrade the rest of my KA Boxes as the fan curves seem better. Additionally, firmware 2.2.2 and above allow for more mining pools like NiceHash.........

I love computers and have been building them all my life but something about crypto makes me nervous to even start. Just seems extremely confusing and complicated. I hate finances so thats probably part of it. I use linux as a daily driver and run pi's all over my house but crypto seems confusing to me lol
