@@luizadanson2894 in my opinion its the most practical study you can do in college & feel as though it translates to the real world, you also get the necessary skills & way of thinking for almost all business subj (acc, finance, bm) & its concepts I learned in econ that i use in every second of every day such as opportunity cost that make me think a bit harder or my real life decisions. Overall great theoretical knowledge that translates to the practical world

Hi Dr. A! Econ major here. I am planning on getting my masters. I have a few video ideas for you that is super helpful for people in my position (I haven't seen these on your channel). I know that this is very job-specific, but it would be really cool if you could do a video on different credentials econ majors get to be more specialized. Additionally, I am kinda worried about letters of rec. Maybe you could talk about that a little bit too, but idk if there is much to talk about there. Thanks !!

Im currently a postgraduate taught student in MSc Economics and Econometrics. Do you think i could go forward with Actuary or Investment Banking analyst. These are 2 of the priority choices I have, but other than that i also plan to apply for business analyst and marketing analyst roles. Im just wondering if i could smoothly transition to either of the first two careers, because i would like to do it, but also wouldn't want to jump into something entirely new. I have knowledge on basic R programming (from undergrad), which im taking a certification currently for (to advance it), we have STATA as well as time series. Would these skills be sufficient?

Hi, the work you're describing sounds like the quant side of investment banking. You will have to prove your expertise in math to into it
