I have a correction to make: in the video I talk about having about 300 golden tickets from the start as a new player to get you going. Unfortunately this was not correct! I had completely forgotten that when the gallery was released we were given retroactive credit for scenario completions. This is what gave me 300 tickets to spend on the gallery. Don't worry though since with the world's fair exhibition and the mod mentioned in the video, you can quickly grab some tickets. I apologize for the confusion!

When I quit on my last build (over 300 hours) I had built Worlds Fair on five islands. Two of them were running Annoversaries at any given time. However it was still a pain in the butt.

That's because the console doesn't have access to it. Scenarios are part of DLC content right you don't have on console.

After almost two years without playing, I return to Anno 1800. I bought the season pass 4 and started watching your videos to refresh my memory. I had no idea this existed, and I am quite happy because when I entered they gave me 900 tickets per previous scenarios that I played, of which I remember absolutely nothing 😂😂😂

I am only up to video #10. I watched the other series already. Got the game a few weeks ago. Started the campaign, but stopped following the storyline once I found your videos, and am ready for the jump to investors soon. Thank you very much for producing this wonderful material!!!

I’m just getting back into the game (after completing most of the content before season 4), so this video is super-helpful, ty. Definitely the biggest and most intricate Anno game and it gives my brain many wrinkles. And _dayum,_ they really paid attention to the items we all use the most, didn’t they? Very cool they did and added this as something of a going-away present.

I love you Taka, I always use your 10x10 template for my cities, you made my life easier. Never stop uploading gameplays and tutorials. PS: You have to follow the video series of WoW nostalgic places.

Thanks for this. I've been playing for quite a while and kinda-sorta knew these existed but didn't really understand how they worked. I've also seen those "infinite tickets" mods that seemed too cheat-ish. I like the middle ground you demonstrated.

I have master Craftsman Franke and the Custom Designers in the same trade union.. On a secondary island close to Madame Kahina... That means I don't need 200 artisans per fur dealer.. using workers to produce 8 per minute right now... :) Using golden tickets for this pairing means that I can get the cash flow very quickly.. Just need enough artisans on the main/ home island.. (Running two x Franke and 1 x costume designer :))

That one moment where the entire player base cries out in unison "Wait, it does WHAT now?!"

Wait, this was added in 2022? I didn't even know it existed and I've been playing a long time. Daaaaamn!

I'm an old ludite and pretty scared of adding mods in case I screw up the whole game. Also not used my free tickets as I know they are only available for one playthrough and was saving them till the games life ended for one last playthrough. How about you do a tier list or top 20 of in game mods....maybe even scared old ludites like myself may give them a try

Tickets are not just a single playthrough! You buy the items you want and then those items are available every game you play!

I tried to get the scenario done in 2 hours (in slow speed) on my first run... I only reached to the 2nd stage before the 2nd hour passed x'D... And now playing at fast speed for the past 2+ hours and IM STILL NOT FINISHED! I'm 80% through the 3rd stage and I just can't wait to finally end this. I planted as many trees as space allowed me, I hope I get the 50% trees acheivement. I have 20 herbalist items.. I don't have 4000 Obreros, but I should do them before finishing the stage. O: Must not forget. Damn this was a way longer scenario that I thoguht it would be, but again I'm a noob.

How do you even get access to Festivals or the Annoversary? Is this part of the vanilla game (I own the game for quite some time but really just find pleasure in playing it - also thanks to your videos). And did I understand correctly, that when you purchased one item in the Grand Gallery and use it in a savefile, that item got used and you have 0 in the Gallery, so you need to buy it again?

You get them one time per game... If you lose one in a ship then it's just gone and you have to get it again through the normal methods or buy it again from the Grand Gallery and you can have another delivered.

No it's tied to your account so you can't change anything. Just use that mod to give yourself a bunch of tickets through the World's Fair and it's not a big deal.

When an item fulfills needs automatically, do you still get the income as if the residents had purchased those items?

Residents don't purchase goods.... needs bar fulfilled equals income gained.

Golden Tickets from teh world's fair.. You can have more than one fair running at a time.... (Pretty sure I've done that)

I don’t quite understand. The video is advising we do the vanity fair thing to get the gold tickets? Can you do it on sandbox mode or for legit because it defeats the purpose of doing all this to get some perks to make more money when the vanity fair/exhibition is an end game building so at that point money shouldn’t even be an issue.

These items that you get from the Grand Gallery are available from the very start of the game. Think of it as a roguelike... You either do scenarios or play through the game to get the world's fair and get some tickets to buy items. Next time you play a new fresh game, you can bring those items into the game from the very start and get a boost on your economy and different things.

@@TakaKZread I’m guessing you can change the mod by also adding more tickets if less is also possible. So doing it once and never bothering again for tedious tasks is probably a better option. Ultimately it’s just perks you get out of it all Edit: also can you just do sandbox mode and just build the grand gallery? Or do you have to do a normal campaign

Nothing about mods or cheats are illegal.... it's just a game and they don't care. The mod should not ever be outdated unless they change anything about the world's fair.

But Taka... why the Actor? I thought you loved the canned goods chain 😀

The link is in the description to the mod. You just install it where I show in the video. Also just so you don't get confused, Spice it Up is NOT A MOD. It is a collection of many mods that you should be picking and choosing what you want to use. It's best to search for Spice it Up in the in-game mod browser and install the parts you want instead of dumping the entire thing from Nexus into your mods folder.

The items themselves aren't cheating, but if you use the mod I talk about to get more tickets about them yeah I guess maybe it is. It's mostly a time saver... They tried to add a roguelike element to the game and I don't really like it or have time to slowly grind it out.

Seems they made the grand gallery stuff incredibly overpowered, i mean sheesh its bad enough if you could just put one per trade building but you can stack 3, its ridiculous. They should have made them 5x weaker, how strong they are is daft. Shame they never fixed exploits like town halls surrounded by schools/markets for insane attractiveness before they left the game, really ruins building options and how it looks. They really did not give a crap about their game balance and just decided to completely break it. Not that soap and pocket watches were already broken (they should at least have bothered to randomise what AI are willing to buy/sell or put limits)

I'm personally gonna think of this as cheating an not going to use it.

It's fair to say you lost some of my respect with your attitude towards scenarios, maybe you should give them another chance?
