Stayed at the Courtyard in downtown Austin and LOVED IT!! The free breakfast buffet was AWESOME!! I was there to attend my nephew's wedding in Florence. Had a most FANTASTIC and memorable experience!! Staff was great!! Freaking awesome!!! 👍👍👍

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I had never stayed at a RI until I had a five week trip for work in 2015 to NY and NJ. The Ri's I stayed in the Bronx, NY and West Orange NJ were the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The RI in the Bronx was newly opened when I stayed and was although there was no restaurant in the hotel, there was a Applebee's in the hotel atrium. The RI in West Orange, NJ looks like something of a mansion from a 1950's black & white movie with a Lobby to match. Staff was great the three weeks I was there. Once I found out one of the outlets didn't work, the problem was quickly taken care of. The Breakfast selections at both RI's were fantastic.

I have to travel to Austin, TX every quarter to see a very specific doctor for a condition I have. I live in Amarillo, TX (about a 8.5 hour drive north) so I always fly. I often try out new hotels for fun and make a little trip out of it with my wife. Surprisingly, my favorite hotel thus far was the Motel 6 on Airport Commerce Dr right next to the airport. The reason is it is brand new, built in 2020, and is hands down the nicest Motel 6 I have ever seen, I have never seen another one like it. Its 4 stories with extremely nice rooms with hardwood floors. I have stayed there 3 times now, because it is only $70 a night! It does not look like a Motel 6 at all. Like, it has suites with a kitchen, king-sized rooms with couches, a pool, a gym etc. For $70 a night, all brand new. I think the reason is it is a "Motel 6 - Studio Deluxe" addition, whatever that means haha.

My wife and I stay at Residence Inns all around the nation. 🤔Maybe I should do a channel about them. We’re only a few points away from being Ambassador Elite. We stay anywhere from 3 months to 18 months per stay. The residence inn in this video is one of the nicer ones, as it depends on the location. I will say that the quality of the stay is solely based on the demographics, economics, political climate, and overall type of area that it’s located. This all determines the type of day/night auditors, managers, and especially housekeeping staff. We’ve found that in low income areas, the quality and care of the facility is not anything like what you see in this video. However, in good areas, the staff go out of their way to make it the best experience for you. Don’t be afraid to complain. We were just awarded 50,000 points for reporting a very disappointing room. I won’t say where, but the manager made sure to correct it, as they should. Remember also, that on nice summer nights, during cheap rate weeks, the first floors are where the riffraff do their dirty deeds. When the residence inn is located in a hotel hub of other hotels, drug dealers will stay on the first floor of the inn. Buyers stay at the cheaper hotels nearby. Those buyers will come from the other hotels to the inn to do the deal. The dealers usually place a rock in between the back entranceways, to keep the door open so that their buyers can walk in and out. We were held up at gunpoint not too long ago by one. So just know that even though these places are nice, they can attract bad elements. So do what you need to to protect yourselves and your family by simply paying attention and reporting suspicions. When you report things like this, the general manager will usually raise the rates at that hotel, which chases the riffraff out. So report, report, report. Other than that, the residence inn is a very comfortable place to stay long term. I will be happy to answer any and all questions you guys may have about these hotels, as we have stayed at MANY. I was disappointed in the breakfast. They had a bag breakfast, and all it had inside was a muffin and a piece of fruit. The hilton that we stayed at had a better setup. We ended up eating breakfast out.

Weird we have that hotel here in Winnipeg, Manitoba.its breakfast is the best, five star rating food
