I bought the Uberflex 50' hose months ago based on your recommendation (along with quick connects) and I could not be happier. So much better than the factory-supplied hose I had been using. You're the man.

I happened to buy the red hose before I came upon this video. It is actually only 30'. The Black Max hose from Walmart (uberflex) that you mentioned in another video is 35' with a 3800 psi rating.

Ordered my blue Uberflex last week and came across the red version. I’m pretty certain it’s only 30’ as I remember skipping it because it’s only 5’ longer than most oem hoses. For the price 50’ is the obvious choice IMO.

A great thing about pressure washers, you can use Touchless Foam to keep your vehicles spotless in the middle of winter when you do not want your hand touching icy tap water. So I bought the Red Uberflex 50', that will give me 600 psi over my washer's output, I like the added safety. Drive through NYC to New England in winter to go skiing with slushy roads & no one will be able to tell what color your vehicle was when you started, it will be covered w/ a thick coating of salt & ash that some of the smaller towns still use to make roads passable... or in Spring in the mountains during the melt, is not known as Spring but as the season of "Mud". The junk I bought from Amazon was super flexible when it was warm but today it is 60F & it is locked solid into its coil shape, would take me an hour to straighten 100 feet to be able to even try to use it, & again it is only 60 degrees out! Can't picture if it was 40 degrees out, would most likely shatter like glass if dropped.. Thanks for Amazon's return policy! Now I learned, only buy Flexzilla or Uberflex pressure hoses ONLY. If you do wash your vehicle in winter, make sure to remove the water from around your door seals & inside of your door handles, & locks if is going to drop below freezing soon. FYI if you use your Pressure Washer in mid winter, you must blow all of the water out of your lines & drain the pressure washer, if the pressure washer is full of water & it freezes it will rupture the seals & maybe crack your tank.

Hey Josh, I recently ordered the Active VE52 off Amazon and the M22/15 to M22/14 Adapter mainly due to your review… and I love it! But guess what?? The Active came with the Adapter INCLUDED so I spent an extra $8.63 unnecessarily!! I have the 50 ft Flexzilla hose, but I’m going to order the 35 ft Uberflex hose now. Thanks for the great content. Love the red color! From what I undertand the is a regulation in the U.S. that a pressure washer cannot be sold without a hose and long gun, hence probably why they manufacture consistlly go cheap on those, assuming you're going to upgrade, to a stub nose gun, and better hose.

Had the blackmax uberflex 35 footer from Walmart. It was ok but I was constantly fighting it, especially under pressure. I took it back and ordered a 50ft kobrajet hose. The user experience is greatly improved but at twice the price. Paid $96 shipped direct from MTM during their summer sale. Came with ss qc at each end and a swivel at one end.

Great advice I really appreciate your honesty. Hopefully Uberflex will send something your way for all the advertising you give them!

I have only used the 50 ft. Uberflex once with satisfactory results. It is somewhat difficult to coil up after use for storage compared to pvc and rubber hoses.

50 feet was too much for me. I got the “Black max” Uber flex hose from Walmart. 35 feet, 3800 psi $35 👍

Just watched an Active 2.3 update by Active. In the comments, the Active person said they require steel braided hose and Uberflex hoses are not recommended due to causing surges with their pressure washers. I have asked Active for confirmation on this.

I bought the Uberflex 30' (red) hose today from Amazon,for the car,the garage,back of the house.I'll get the 50' hose latter for the front of the house.Only so much money this month to spend also bought a hand gun.

If you have a active 1800 pressure washer you loose pressure or GPM! Factory is 3/8” and Uber flex is 1/4” hose. When u switch between them it’s a very noticeable change! 50’ is super nice. Definitely a must when doing drive ways or your house.

I just ordered the 50 foot red to match my Bauer power washer plus the gun you recommend and the foam cannon you use, they didnt have the gun with the swivel i had to order the swivel separate

I tried the 100 foot hose you linked but it’s nowhere near as pliable as the 50ft one. There was also a small lag on my Active VE52 due to length of hose. Wasn’t worth the loss of performance and the stiffness.

There should be a 1/4 x 75’ PWH for those hard to park near customer’s car jobs!!

I have the 50' blue Uberflex on a reel. Although the hose doesn't kink, it create a bunch of circles to where I have to constantly walk it out with my gun with live swivel to straighten it out. When working around the car, it'll start to make those circles again. Do you encounter this problem?

Hey Josh, any experience with the 100 ft Uberflex, which is their 4000 psi 3/8 in hose? Seems you can't get the 1/4 in in that length. Wonder how it handles. Friction loss would be reduced, but it's unknown how each washer motor would react. If they are specced for 1/4, some may not like 3/8. Also, I don't think 50' is too long - that's just enough to reach from an in-garage hose bib to the street, so it covers the whole driveway of homes here. If the 3/8 in hose is a bad idea, I guess we could chain 2x50.

Would love to try an Uberflex hose with my pressure washer (AR Blue 2000 psi) but I noticed that the stock hose has a small and unique quick connect fitting on one end of the hose where it connects to the pressure washer (the point where the pressurized water outflow connects to the spool provided with the washer) Can you modify one end one of these Uberflex hoses to be able to replace the stock hose entirely? If so, what fittings would I need to be able to adapt an aftermarket hose to my unit...or am I stuck with my stock hose?. Thanks in advance.

They are not like an Uberflex, not much better than the standard hose that comes with the machines.

Hey Josh, I am purchasing this hose for my CAT pressure washer. I don’t have it In my budget to purchase a new gun but want the longer hose with the quick disconnects. Do you know if The M22X15 and M22X14 quick disconnects will work together instead of purchasing the 15 to 14 converter? Looks like they both have 3/4 inch plugs.

I bought a green works pressure washer it came with a blue hose. You are right those hoses are pure crap. I just bought a red Uber flex hose. The only reason I bought this is because of your informational video. I was power washing my vehicle a week ago when I walked back to shut off the washer the hose curled up around my legs, I tripped fell on the cement landed on my behind and my elbow. So I’m going to give Uber flex a try

Hey Jerry Im sorry to hear that... The blue hoses that come with the Greenworks are typically an UberFlex hose. If you compare those to a hose that comes with other pressure washers they are significantly better!

I use this one. www.amazon.com/dp/B003TFE7ZM/?tag=detailgreen-20 It’s a similar to construction of the uberflex pressure washer hose but for a standard garden hose! I use the 25’ but I’m pretty sure you could go to a 50’ and it would be fine

The red one is actually 30 feet and the black walmart is 35 feet so a 5 foot difference in length

Yes they do! It’s a black color and i thinks it a black max brand but it’s an uberflex

@@imjoshv I have the original Ryobi hose that I hated that I threw it in the back shed of my backyard and got the 25’ Powerhose Nonmarking. I hate it. But once I get it straight it work but too short. Kind of like the 35’ red Uber flex.

Does anyone know if there is a major difference between the Red 50 ft and blue 50 ft Uberflex hoses? I want to upgrade the hose instead of using the kit one and don't know if the color is the only difference or not.

Hi the red one is 35ft.. I’m not sure if they have a red option in 50 ft or not… but aside from length color is the only difference. Construction is the same for both

As others said,. WALMART have this 35 feet in black for black magic. It black and made my same company , pro pulse??? Cheaper too $29.99. For anyone guessing if there a difference with red one, there is none. My cousin bought red one from Amazon. I compared with one I bought from Walmart. Exactly the same !!!

I bought the 35 ft hose but it does not work with the long gun that came with my Ryobi. I need the long gun to clean my driveway. Anybody knows why this is happening?
