Would love Apple to support two HomePod minis for 4 speaker surround

Actually less loose is perfect cuz every time i listen to lossless audio my expectations goes through the roof and I can’t relax 👍

Perfect timing as I just bought ATV 4K, 3rd Gen. and have been trying to get my Samsung q90r tv and new ATV to play its content thru my NAD c328 amp. Worked perfectly with all tv apps including AppleTV app but now cannot get any audio other than tv speakers!?! Saw your post and instantly switched to all my ATV 4K audio output thru HomePod, v1 and it sounds really good! Now I am going to pick up another HPod, v1 and pair them. THANK YOU!

UPDATE: I bought a 2nd HPod plus added a mini from another room to ATV4k and OMG the sound is amazing! Was going to buy a couple KEF LS50 METAS to improve amp & old speakers but not necessary now. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You saved me from $1550 METAS to $300 HPod. All used, of course.

@@GeorgeLista 2 HPd, v1 on console under wall mounted tv and mini on rear wall. Haven’t bought 2 mini as I have just left tv audio solely thru 2 HPds as mini doesn’t add anything worthwhile.

First of all, thanks for great video.👍🏻 I will follow your suggestions. One thing I would like to take opinion, If my TV has no any ARC options ( old FHD System), still homepod 2 or homepod mini is to be reasonable to us with apple tv 4k ?

I still have my '08 Vizio . I connected my streaming device to the HDMI Arc connection on my old Insignia 5.1 receiver then to the TV. Insignia is pretty cheap used because the Big Audio enthusiasts are chasing brands like OPPO and Yamaha. I feel the need to downsize and give Apple a try, the Dolby Atmos sealed the deal for me as I did recently buy the Xperia 1 V and have sample 360 and Atmos tracks on Tidal. If I can't connect my Android phone then I'm willing to buy the Apple TV 4k

this can be done as PC speakers right because of eArc? I own LG C2 42" using it mainly as a monitor

Did this end up working? I have the same setup.

Man I can’t get eArc to show up on my Apple TV. It’s in the eArc hdmi slot and it’s not an option in the settings for me. Any ideas?

Most likely your Apple TV is not connected to the correct HDMI on your tv. Has to be in arc hdmi

Which Gen Apple TV do you have? I have 1st gen 4k and I was sad to find that it is not supported on this model so an upgrade pending.

Could you tell me what ipad case is that?

I have the 2 apple HomePod minis in stereo pair and linked the HDMI cable to my tv through earc. When I'm playing movies on streaming platforms or through my 4k player what audio is this? Is it Dolby atmos or does home-pod minis not deliver dolby atoms?

Can you use the homepod 2 and 2 homepod mini at the sametime?

Not in stereo mode no. But AirPlay audio, yes.

What’s the difference? I have my two minis in stereo and have my HomePod 2 added. The HomePod 2 acts as the sub for the two minis sounds great.

What is the other media device do you have connected?

Where’d u get the tv furniture ?

You think two minis sound better to than stock TV?

Other reviewers have said the audio is way better. In testing with the HomePod mini I have noticed a huge improvement compared to the built in speakers. Moving to the bigger HomePod the improvement is 10x even better.

I would love to do this! I'm a apple guy, I don't have a tv in my bed room or I would do this with a homepod minis

He meant lossless. He said it wrong.

HOMEPOD is not seen inmy DEFAULT AUDIO OUTPUT. It’s just under TEMPORARY AUDIO OUTPUT. What does it mean,
