This video is on building a Glidecam at home, that's basically a 3-axis Gimbal, but unlike the modern Gimbals that works electronically, a Glidecam works with the help of sprung weight on the axis. It has been widely used since 1975 by professional Cinematographers. And even now its the most affordable steady cam.
