I have an amberide with a plastic clip for my shield plus. Works good for me. Would be better if I lost a few pounds. Don't know where I found these pounds at.

The Alien Gear does work great at 4 o'clock and you can buy just the shell for $25 if you need to for other guns.

Prozac is one I have.but right on how it's not to convertable to wear.

I have the Crossbreed Reckoning which allows for an optic.

@@ShepherdMinistry Yes, I've carried both ways. But I now prefer 4 o'clock so I can carry with a round in the chamber.

Pole Craft is also very good if you carry in or out of the Belt .

Want one for my very small 44 mag. 6" barrel

CYA now makes their holsters with an optic cut, but beware. Their designers added the optic cut to the shell, but didn't reposition the clip, so the optic ends up either right on top of your belt, or below your belt line, of course snagging on the belt or waistband when reholstering. The holster also places the gun low, so it's not easy to get a good grip when drawing because your belt/pants end up obstructing access. This holster should be redesigned so that the clip is positioned to place the pistol higher.

Purchase my m&p shield EZ from royal king and they told best holster is hard side clip holster and it's great but wondering if shoulder holster are good to? But the last holster shown and rated #1 to have is the one I have.

Try Concealment Express. The new shield fits in the old shields holsters. They have super fast shipping and they are nice, just as nice as my Vedders which are more expensive. If Concealment Express doesn’t have what you need try Vedder. I tried We The People but I couldn’t even get my gun into the holster. Was to thin, and I heard their customer service sucked so I purchased it through Amazon. Glad I did because I had to return it, for a refund.

Only one of those would even work for outside of the waistband. So out of all of those holsters there isn't 1 outside of the waistband holster that's worth it. I have MNP shield 2.0,45 caliber and I'm having a really hard time finding holsters for outside the waistband

Cook's Holsters and Detroit Holsters offer more custom Kydex holsters.

Has anyone tried any of these with the Shield 9mm EZ? The dimensions are slightly wider than the typical shield.

@Glizzy TwoTones I can tell you I picked the EZ over the original simply because of the easier slide racking. If my hand gets injured, or slippery, I still want to be able to rack the slide. Still need a holster though.

I don't own this gun but I was curious what your list was. I have the Taurus GX4 and I can say I disagree and agree with your #2. Don't get the 3.5 IWB though from alien gear. If your gun has it, get the 4.0. I had the 4.0 for my old taurus g2c and it was amazing. They didn't have it yet for my Taurus gx4 so I figured the 3.5 would be about the same since the 4.0 is for their shapeshift lineup. Dead wrong. It would rack the slide anytime I put it in the holster. It's also not tool less like this video implies. The 4.0 is though, completely tool less! I tried everything to adjust the 3.5. Ended sending it back and buying the cya holster that's at your #1 ironically. Never had heard of them until I saw a FB ad. But just to let people know, if you are looking at the ALIEN GEAR 3.5 IWB cloak tuck, don't. Get the 4.0 if available (depends on if they have the shape-shift lineup for your gun). Super excited for my CYA holster

@@robertosamson5955 it was amazing. I ended up selling the GX4 and the holster with it. I ordered another one today from them but for my new pistol I also ordered today which is the Sig P365 XMacro. It’s their new ridge one with a claw on it. I’m sure it’ll be even better but the normal one was amazing. So comfy and the boltaron if more durable than standard kydex. I put it through its paces and I can say without a doubt CYA makes 5 star holsters. Like I will always buy from them now.

The Alien holster is an excellent M&P unit as I have one for the Shield and one for my S/W 459 9mm pistol. Loctite in BLUE is the method to prevent any screw from backing out. Not really a a fair comment. As a 30 year LEO, get a good holster that fits the weapon right. Break it in by wearing it at home and then on the street (and try it in your car!).

I spoke with a rep from alien gear recently & he told me thst they don't have any holster I can use for my m&p 9M2.0 that has the crimson trace red dot optic sight & threaded barrel. I was hoping that this wasn't correct and there was an option but I'm guessing not. I have a kydex holster from we the people but I was hoping to get one like the shapeshift 4.0 or some close to it without breaking the bank so the search continues...

Pro tip for all the men out there, clear finger nails polish can be used as a temporary loc tite

A holster is a device meant to carry and retain a tool or device, e.g. cell phone, knife, pliers, calculated, etc, not only a revolver or pistol. Despite trying to have 4 "best", at least you identified the pro's & con's of each. Thank you. That was helpful.

Yeah, after checking all their video titles and blog posts, it's all borderline clickbait, spam and shill writing by someone with a good technical command of English, but lacking the nuances of idiomatic expressions and casual conversational American English. It's basically an ad revenue trap by people who are only marginally interested in firearms and probably run a dozen similar shake and bake websites and channels for other hobbies and niche interests. Complete newbies might find the content okay but I'm blocking this channel so KZread doesn't clutter up my feed again.

Your incorrect you can tuck an alien gear IWB 3.5 in a shirt I have one.

I don't know how anyone can stand the feel of a weapon inside their wasteband. I prefer OWB holsters.

Sure many of us would prefer an OWB holster but its not legal in some places like here in Florida. Sure there are many that can be concealed but its not too easy

I'm guessing English is not your first language... And every holster you show is apparently, "the BEST iwb holster"

imho. If you're skinny THEN you can do IWB. If your not skinny then you have to do OWB or shoulder holster. IWB is better for concealment but OWB is better for comfort and practical access. That said now look at these recommendations

My instructor for chp was in the chubby side and had it iwb he said customized is better as all the options on market is marketed for skinny peeps as im saying this I bought one from brass pro shop the species safariland and my issue is bending down and feeling the gun pushing my stomach and sitting down as well, I prefer no holster at that point but I don’t know if we really need a holster or not for conceal to carry that being said if anyone knows the best one to buy for s&w mp m2 and is a little chubby please let me know as I want one for a everything use and sitting down, running, driving, as for now I’ll get marks as it’s pushing to my stomach
