You’re most welcome, it’s a great route 👍
The people on this trip make it sound outlandish, trips no one will believe you happened, at least you have video proof... bit like the time met one eyed, deaf in the other ear, professional golf caddy TA hiker... Bloody awesome video

Funny to think that if you were on Rintoul at 1731m while I was on Mt Arthur at 1795m (day-2) we might have been looking each other eye to eye. 🤣
What an awesome destination Dave, and all in NZ!! Such and interesting place with so much history. What I love is the small details you add Dave, like you making your blueberry porridge LoL!! Awesome stuff

Thanks Jo, it is a suitable walk for beginners, families and those with old knees. I would not recommend what we did on day two though for the same. Thanks for watching, DM me when you are in town too.
The Kmart stove is so handy for such a great price.

Yeah it’s awesome and thanks for watching TJ. This is my go to Stove particularly when sharing as it’s big, quick and light.
Wow, some impressive bivvies. Looks like a interesting trip through the old gold mining areas. I am amazed at the number of people you met. I rarely see anyone, and those I do are reluctant to be on camera. Looking forward to the storm on Mt Arthur...

Thanks Pete, yes it was the most interesting hike I’ve done with so much to see. I have a charismatic way about me, coupled with a shameless tenacity, myself and those with me, get to see, do and engage more than most, just ask the boys that come along, always memorable moments. You’re doing real well Pete, keep it up 👍
Nice to see you wife on this trip Dave. Did your son go as well? How’d you find having your tent on the side of your pack, did it catch on the swing ridge?
