A quick look at what I think is the absolute best mod for any 2003-2017 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail FLSTC: Quick Detach Saddlebags.
You will need this HD part number: 90200641A (Quick Detach Saddlebag Conversion Kit)
AND one of these hardware mounting point kits...
For bikes with quick detach sissybar/luggage rack: HD part number 90200670 OR
For bikes without quick detach sissybar/luggage rack: HD part number 90200669

I have a 2007 fat boy with factory bags and quick detach sissy bar. Wonder if this would work for me?

The web site says the kit only works on the heritage softail. It looks like the fat boy bags are not the same size as the heritage, and have different mounting brackets.
