Thanks for the guide! It worked. How did you unlock resolution options higher than the game provides, which is 1024 * 768? Also, what are your views/experiences on the PC port optimization of this game ???

You're welcome; I'm glad it helped! Personally I've found the game to run fine; no major issues on my end. As for resolutions, those were tthe standard options it came with. I tried various different ones, and didn't find that there was any major differences between them. The biggest thing imo was getting rid of that motion blur and that yellowish tint. Compare this to my earliest NFS videos, and you'll see how big of an improvement this is.

Honestly i like the blurry and dark graphics It just looks like NGS mw

Man that actually worked for me ...i have installed redux v3 and still looked yellowish...and that blur was at times annoying...installing redux v3 removes many things from the registry, so the blur settings was in one of the scripts from redux v3...now is all so clear...Thank you

There is an easier way to turn it off Motion blur. But I have Visual Treatment almost always turned off, unless I change the color quality then the last option must be turned on :)

Yah I've heard there are other options, but some of them also have the ability to corrupt or damage your game files. This is a safe, and also fairly easy, way of doing it. I just wish I had known about this sooner as you'll notice that some of my older NFS videos still have that "original / before" look to them.

It should be available under "advanced settings". And, your gameplay should look like this after following these steps. The only other factor that might make a difference could be each individual's PC performance.

I have an issue ,screen tearing. Its like an very old TV ya know, it keeps tearinv but doesnt effect my gameplay much, just make me with headache. Any advice?

Hmm that's interesting.. I just have the digital version, so I thought the CD version would be similar. I'd recommend searching online to see if someone had a similar issue and then how they solved that..

After you apply these changes, I recommend starting the game in administrator mode. Also, it is good to have a backup of your original game files just in case anything goes wrong; that way you still have the standard working version.

There are shaders and things you can download to "improve" the game visuals, but personally I'm ok with how it looks after the changes I made in this video. Just be sure to save an original copy of the game if you're gonna download any mods or shaders just in case..

No worries; if you can follow all the other steps your video should still look like the example that I show 😀

VSYNC enabled on a game from 2005 on a 2022 PC will make you 500fps to handle for your screen that is at 144Hz/360Hz is not a good option ;-)

So there are a few in-game resolutions to choose from. Apart from that, I think you need to get a wide screen patch if I'm not mistaken..

If you want to keep the blur than just keep the variable at 1 instead of switching it to 0

Lol yup this is the NFS game that I've done a voice-over on, and mainly because it's a tutorial / demonstration video. I figured it'd be easier to follow along than if I'd just try using Text to explain everything. I have also done voice-overs with some of my Forza videos.

After click wow6432node, there is no EA games map, cant find nfs neither. Got the game download from link.

See if you can find those via the search bar at the top. It seems that if the game is downloaded via a link, it often runs into this issue. If that doesn't work, then I'd recommend looking online for another solution.
