I added 16gb of ram and a nvidia gtx 1060 3gb (cause it was free from my uncle), and i believe a 400w psu, and a couple ssds. A rough estimate for total upgrade cost is like $150. Since dedicated physx cards use to be a thing and nividia stoped because cuda replaced them, why don't we have dedicated cuda with physx support, compatibility and accelerated preccessing speed that is high performance to support triple A games and any other upcoming games in the future? Since video games are using more 3d software, drivers, video caches and more realistic ray tracing shader caches they need more hardware support. Proccessing speed to run a game at the highest possible quality or high should be a priority for newer games which would help with higher fps and smoother game play. I think motherboard need 4 to 5 video slots nowadays and each card is dedicated to one thing, ray tracing shadows and lighting, another for 3d vcache, video ram is faster and is catching up, gpus need faster processing power to even keep up. Also I rather be able to install a console operating system because it comes with less junk. In order to run triple a games you need to compromise with settings and turn things down or off. Plus shader caches have become so big because of ray tracing and no one has fixed it. There are other problems that need to be fixed but it's mostly a speed and data proccessing. Your cpu doesn't even proccess video data anymore it's all done on the gpu. The CPUs that are fast don't do anything just run the operating system.

Hi brother I’m starting a budget build with the b550m. Ryzen 5 5500 but I’m not sure about what graphics card i should use. Im stuck between a rx6600 used or adding a lil more for a new rx7600. Ive also considered the rx6650xt but I’m not sure on which i should go for. Any recommendations my man?😊

I've got a 1080p75 monitor and want to play most games from medium to high settings without going under 100FPS. e.g Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Destiny 2. I run a 4070 on an i5-11400 and the CPU is not the bottleneck in my system. So yes, if you can afford a 4070Ti just get that. AMD offers nothing that is on par either feature or performance wise with the 40-series at a similar price point. Don't worry about trying to "match" parts, because you're not going to be able to. Either your CPU or your GPU is going to be the bottleneck for most things gaming and if you upgrade one, to alleviate that bottleneck, the other just became the new bottleneck. There will always be a bottleneck, as there is always a component in the system that's the slowest. All you can do is change which part is the bottleneck, but eliminating it is impossible.
