Alabama has many breathtaking golf courses, but FarmLinks at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga has to be right up there in the mix of best available courses. FarmLinks is a stunning par 72 course spanning over 7,400 from the tips. While FarmLinks is the crown jewel and attraction of Pursell Farms, the property boasts many other activities and amenities, making it a great getaway for two, four or a large group of golfers. The recently completed hotel overlooks the eighteenth fairway and has a pool, restaurant, incredible breakfast, outdoor bocce ball court and more. The entire property is quite large, as it takes several minutes of driving from passing through the gate to reaching the inn. Bicycles are available for rent and golf carts can be taken back to private cottages with private putting greens, if you really want to do it right and have the pockets to do so. I cannot say enough great things about our visit to Pursell Farms. The golf was stunning and I'll have to return again with others. Wait until you see the view on hole #5 in a future video - it's wild. #pursellfarms #farmlinks #farmlinksatpursellfarms

love the tee marker names, great idea! Also I've played golf in some hot weather, but never seen a giant fan on a golf course before, now I've seen two just in your videos! That course looks pure as well, great video!

Thanks Dave, yes I appreciate the thoughtfulness of naming each hole. These were also the first fans I've seen, humming beside every green. Yes, super pure!

Seriously Dougie, your videos are immense, from the shot tracer to your name display with score and shot count is epic. I'd expect this quality from someone who's has 100k+ subscribers, WOW. Your videos are better than some of the top golfing KZreadrs atm. Keep it up mate, you will soon be at 1,000k subscribers.

Fans on the greens are a Southern thing. Courses in the South that have bent grass greens have to use fans to keep the greens cool, otherwise the bent grass will burn off, no matter how much watering they get.

I love that feeling after making a smart course management decision to lay up only to knock one in the hazard or shank it. Your right thou, got to forget about those and move on to the next shot. I'm tired of seeing all these nice courses. When are you going to play a run down one?
