What this video really reveals is that MLS needs better announcers. Perhaps they should send all of their announcers to spend a few weeks with Arlo White and see if they can polish up their play calls a bit.

Look, Zelarayan's goal from midfield was top class, but I'd argue that the Yeboah goal in MLS Cup Final was better. A beautiful buildup culminated by that final pass from Amundsen.

I don't think a fairly straightforward free kick should win best goal. It's a toss up between Klauss's goal, Niko's flick against LA, and Big Sam's outside of the boot against Austin.

Well, Messi doesn't have a lot of MLS goals. His best goal was the team one against New York. So it's not like they even had a choice for Messi. He was injured for the majority of the MLS games. And I'm certain this video is excluding the Leagues Cup goals.
