Best GLUE For Tire Stickers or Letters - TruckTalk #26
In this video we discuss about the best glue for tire stickers or letters and why the glue needs to be flexible. Using regular glue or crazy glue doesn't work because it needs to remain flexible. Using crazy glue will not work. The flexement tire sticker glue shown in this video remain flexible to bend and move with the tire and not come loose.

Tire prep is pretty simple just make sure that it is clean, dry and doesn't have any oil or tire shine on the tire. Its a good idea to use a degreaser on the tire to make sure the letters are going to adhere well.

I use tire cement. The same stuff mechanics use to patch a tire. Works phenomenal. Dries in 3 to 5 minutes. Hasn't come off or peeled. An 8 oz can lasts forever. $11.99 at Advance Auto. Hope this helps. 👍

I must've watched this video 10 times. Before I got my letters and after. Thanks for sharing your experience. Ps: Is it okay that those corners are loose in some places. I'm super paranoid, everytime I see a corner lift I put loctite on there😂, I even keep glue in the car. I'm afraid the wind will catch it on the highway. So I'd like to hear from someone who's had them on longer. 😁

Yes and its flexible. Make sure you give it enough time to dry before driving

What you think is btr tire stickers or gorilla glue…getting ready to put tire stickers on my charger
Rubber cement did not work Super glue kinda worked I dno what else to use. Literally their is only "tire sticker glue" and its by products But what lasts?

Do you know What glue i could use in the uk? That glue is about £35 off amazon to get shipped from usa.
I'm gonna try e6000 rubber glue for mine. It remains flexible whereas super glue does not flex

@@Bjorncone I've used e6000 on a subwoofer surround and it works great. I haven't used it for the tire stickers yet. I was thinking about using both super glue and the e6000

@@joel92mor man I haven't got around to doing it yet. It seems like all I do is work. But I'm positive it will work great. I've used e6000 on subwoofers and it is great for that. But I was thinking of using a little tire stickers glue and e6000 together so it stays on for good

Also when you put the letters on while the car is sitting. It will already have some stretch. Then most likely they won't come off like that.

Worked for a week and once i went over 70 mph one i started to loose them. Alltough with mine the whole "hankook" letters are on a rubber patch as a word so i guess those are easier to come off because of the weight and once a corner or so gets loose its game over.

Hey Nick theres no dumb questions here so fire away! The Goodyear letter were added thats why the lettering is so big and raised. I didn't install the letters originally but actually bought the wheels slightly used and the previous owner had the letters installed.
