I have a similar code reader. I dont remember the brand off the top of my head but it does the same thing as yours. My nephew had it and gave it to me. I mainly use it to shut the check engine light off because there is something messed up in the egr system. It has a leak it says. That's almost useless info with all the emission junk on it. Its a 97 F-150 so its bound to have some issues. Ive owned it the last 18 years. I may check it out some day, may not too. I used to be a diesell mechanic for a trucking company and two ready mix plants and dont really enjoy working on things anymore. It runs just fine, just has a pecking sound because the egr valve isnt opening. Dont bother me much. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thanks for watching! I pay NOTHING! My wife bought it for me from Amazon and there is ZERO extra cost after the initial purchase. I have used it several times on all our vehicles. One of the best gifts I've EVER received.
