Razer Cobra (formerly Viper Mini) is still the best shape I've tried. Is there anything similar where you don't have to sell a kidney to get? I've tried the OP1 8k and didn't like the hump placement on that shape.

Im thinking of getting new peripherals and uhh, I have an LTT mousepad. Should I even bother with all of that glass skates stuff? Or a diff mousepad?? Prob not. Right?

Funny, I like the clicks on my Sora V2 better than any other mouse I've ever tried, by far. They're quiet/deep sounding, feel great, are spammable, and have very little side to side movement. For reference I have used the Lamzu Thorn, Lamzu Atlantis, Delux M900 Pro, Deathadder V2 Pro, Deathadder V3 Pro, Viper V3 Pro, Endgame Gear OP1 8k, Pwnage Stormbreaker, Attack Shark R3, Pulsefire Haste, Glorious Model O, and Logitech Superlight, and I keep going back to the Sora.

I love my VXE R1 Pro, bought it after I heard your reviews on it... still waiting for a next budget king... will be hard to dethrone

Hey boardzy, can you comapre the shape from the U2 to the XM1/XM1r from egg? The greatest mouse i have ever used was the xm1 but i broke it in an accident and was waiting for the xm2w 4k to replace it. Thought about trying the u2 but it would cost 150 usd where i live lol, what do you think?

I was getting weird skips or stutters when I would bare down on the Viper V3 pro with my Saturn Pro mouse pad. I took a hunch and switched back to my qck heavy and the frequency of these instances became almost non existent. I'm not sure it is the softness or materials of the pads or LOD but whatever is going on with the qck it is happening less. TLDR: If you are getting random stutters with the new Viper Pro I would recommend trying different surfaces or possibly LOD's. Outside of that the mouse has been near perfect!

My cat has a beef with the Vxe R1 Pro yeeted it of the table more than 15 times now still going strong!

Still a valid choice. ⦿Moves like feather, was a fairly noticeable upgrade for me. ⦿Coming from viper mini's optical these clicks feel really satisfying in-game (´◡`) ⦿Snappy & Responsive no noticeable input-latency whatsoever ⦿Build quality feels solid even for people like me with death grip ໒꒰ྀི × ˕ ×｡꒱ྀི১ ⦿Skates is decent enough but not durable already has scratches will upgrade ⦿The Shape fit's like a glove to me(17X9.5) there was always something "Missing" for me on the viper mini and the slight hump on these completes it. ⦿Side buttons has a "empty" kinda feeling but I like it ⦿10/10 No Complaints only Happines

i need help deciding which mouse to use, i need a good lightweight mouse for fortnite that has good sidebuttons, good control, and overall feels comfortable to use. i use a relaxed claw grip, the first mouse is a G-Wolves Hait HT-M Ace Wired Stardust Blue mouse, the second mouse is a, G-Wolves Hati HT-S Ace Wired Cosmic Blue mouse, the htm is about 2x bigger in length and weighs 53 while the hts weighs 45. hts has detachable micro usb tho. i just dont know which mouse is better for fortnite, i use sidebuttons for my builds

have been using vxe r1 pro (white ver) for a month now no issue so far from clicks or what so ever best budget mice so far imo

Love the Zowie U2, but I've had problems with the mice pointer settings in device manager. Exhausted all suggestions from BenQ support. Eventually i tried preventing updates from happening to my hardware in device manager. For what ever reason that stopped my issue of the mice constantly connect/disconnecting.

I have an OG Sora and it's probably my favorite fingertip mouse. The narrow width you don't like is what makes these types of mice easier to fingertip IMO. But, to see the new one has those issues is surprising... especially since the old one is so solid. Hopefully it was a bad unit.

dr. boardzy do you have any specific recommendations for larger hands (~19.5 cm) or how to judge if a mouse shape/size is good for your hand size or do you think it doesnt really matter

I love the R1 Pro, it's one of the best budget mice I've tried. I dropped it twice around 3 feet above the ground, and it still works fine. The battery is quite okay, it could last a week on 1k without performance mode at 12 hours of usage daily.

can you try something for me on your beast x max? plug it in, and try to use the scroll wheel at the same time as moving the mouse, does it cut off the scroll wheel feed? works fine in wireless mode but when wired it seems to cut off for me for some reason.

Which ergo around the size of the Lamzu Thorn would you recommend?

What is your complaints with the ULX Tiger/ why do you prefer the beast max?

Boardzy I would love to know your stance on using 4k & 8k sensors being declared a straight up downgrade because it's being found that the step up in responsiveness is so astronomically low as compared to 1k or 2k. And to add to that 4k and 8k requires a lot of CPU power causing pretty bad frame drops for low and mid send pcs. Thoughts?

No point in getting a 8k dongle if your pc is bad. Took me a long time to get a good keyboard, deathadder v3, 360hz monitor, good pc etc etc u just gotta save up one thing at a time man. Get healthy, eat good, don't smoke or drink and u save a ton of money fast bro.

What LOD settings do you use on the Viper V3 Pro?

honestly I adore the beast x mini shape and I have around 18x9cm hands with a claw grip. It just works for me.

I'm using the VXE R1 Pro but and got the VGN 4K Dongle along with it. While using the mouse with the 4K Dongle I've been having tracking issues where the mouse would suddenly stop tracking. The Mouse and the Dongle seem to still be connected since the LED Indicator on the Dongle would turn back on everytime I moved the mouse from when it goes to sleep. I tried using the 1K Dongle the comes with the mouse and I haven't had any issues with tracking. Has anyone had any issues with the VGN 4K Dongle and if so, does anyone know any fixes? Or do I just have to return it? Thank you in advance.

Yo Boardzy my man I have a [Shocking] suggestion. For us neurodivergent pepegas who have super low sensitivity and need to lift our mice a lot, it would be really cool to have mouse reviewer include an assessment of "mouse liftability" in their review. For example, the original gpro wireless was extremely unliftable because it had almost no side curve where it mattered, and to add chainsaws to the wound, not particularly grippy texture to make up for that. Regards from Snoreway. Great videos, keep churning out the shocking content.

So ive been on the hunt for my perfect mouse for about 3 and half years. Trying all different brands too narrow down what I liked/disliked. Viper Mini, Puslefire haste, Burst pro, Hati s, Viper V2, Starlight 12, MZ1, Superlight, X2, X2H, Atlantis Mini, etc.. Only now after trying the Zowie U2 have I found my perfect mouse. Yes it limited to 1k hertz, but idk I've tried plenty of 4k mice on a 240hz monitor, and just never really cared for the difference outside of killing the battery. Outside of that, its my perfect mouse. ( but yea getting Corepads, or some new skates did make it feel better )

I recently picked up a Viper and dude I absolutely love this thing! It's by far the best I've ever used, and I'm coming from a DAv3 which I dearly loved. The sensor, the switches, the shape, the weight and of course, the coating. This is the best feeling mouse I've ever touched. If it broke right now, I'd go out and drop another $150 on one in a second.

What skates did you put on your v3 pro?

I got the Beast X Max with Omron Opticals, and it has been fantastic so far. I really don't get how people think the holes are an issue, aside from cleaning difficulty, the holes are not sharp like a cheese grater or anything and they add grip for me, I don't need any rubber grips on it. Also the magnesium just feels cold and fantastic to the touch. The buttons are crispy, it has been solid so far. I got pretty big hands so the larger size is preferable. If the op8k comes out in a wider format I might try that too but as it is now, I am going to just main the Beast X Max til it breaks. If anyone with a beast x max has an issue with no registered movement from time to time, all I had to do is switch to 2mm lift off distance and it seems to have fixed that for me. My liftoff is based on my movement so I do wish the software allowed incremental choices instead of just a choice between 1 and 2 mm.

I was considering for a second to try op1 but according to eloshapes It's similar in size to viper mini which is a bummer for me because I had viper mini in hand and I hated it. if you are used to ambi mouse it may be a bad idea to buy a deathadder v3 pro, but who knows, you can always test it for 24 hours and then refund it if you dislike it. I have the deathadder v3 pro smooth touch and its the best mouse ive ever had by far

@@yuwuina Thanks for the answer. It's a shame that ninjutso released a mice with random QC issues after the sucess of the 4K... Also the v2 is only purchasable on their website, i live in EU and according to their shipping policy there is no VAT and custroms fees included (i hate surprise while the package is in transit so no thanks). I was very interested by ninjutso (and sprime) products since i heard of the sora 4K but if they plan to make a mess like the V2 for each future release, i think it will be better to ignore what they are doing and look at other brands like EGG and Lamzu. That mice will be quickly forgotten for claw enjoyer when EGG will release their two shape with the latest tech / kailh GX switches in wireless and when Lamzu will release new versions of the Atlantis and Atlantis mini.

I agree with the Viper. I bought so many trash mice and had problems on every single one. Went from a GPX2 with broken scroll wheel (2 different units) to a ULX Lion with naaasty click wobble side to side (2 different units too) to a Beast X Medium with ridiculously bad battery life that lasted me 4 hours on any polling rate higher than 1k to a OP1 8k which was honestly an amazing mouse but way too thin for my hands and now I'm on the Viper V3 Pro and it just is perfect. There is not a single complain even after months of using it now. No QC issues, extremely great coating, performance is Top 3 in all metrics, shape is amazing. It's just the product to choose if you can somewhat afford the price. It's so extremely reliable and for me that's the biggest factor now after having so many faulty products. If it works it works, I don't see any reason swapping away from this for years from now.

I heard it's too narrow for relax claw/fingertip grip? I'm scared to invest on it

anyone got any lightweight mouse recommendation? i tried 3 mice: g305, viper mini and viper v3 hyperspeed. 1-g305 had the best claw/palm grip hybrid, good sensor but heavier for flicking. i didnt like the hump being very near to the rear that decreased palm surface contact and doesn't slide on my palm when controlling recoil 2-viper mini is the best for me so far cuz of its lightweight. my problem is it being small for claw/palm gripping that it pains my hand, besides the sensor needs an upgrade cuz tracking is worse than other mice. 3-hyperspeed is the worst so far. despite its great sensor quality for tracking, its size made me not able to fully contain it with claw grip, and its weight made me skipping pixels when microflicking. flicking in general was a challenge. budget is 150$, polling rate 1kHz, hand size 21.5x10.5cm but i don't prefer big mice. also don't recommend mice with low height at the front (like lamzu atlantis mini) because i straighten both ring and pinky fingers and rest their tips at front of mouse.

Lot of people say that the wobble on Sora V2 is minimal xd u scared me I just bought it I think its a very good mouse

just picked up a sora v2! Not super familiar with the mouse industry and all the offerings - I bought a superlight back in 2021 when I started gaming and it's been really great ever since. I've heard mostly positive things about the Sora and at the price of $100, I think I'll be really happy with it - especially considering how damn light it is. It's over 33% lighter than my superlight, which itself was so much lighter than my first mouse, the steelseries rival 600, that I had to drop my sensitivity to adjust. I think for people like me who aren't looking for necessarily the most premium mouse but just the best specs for the money (as well as people who only really intend to use it at 1k - I have no issues with 1k with my superlight and don't see why that would change with the sora), the Sora V2 is pretty insane. 40g, omron optical switches, incredible sensor, and solid coating all for $100 is great.

Im using FK2 the past 10 years and i cant find anything else that can replicate the feeling for me. I would by u2 but i cant pay 160€ for a 1KHz mouse with 3395 in 2024. I wish it was 4K 3950
