Definitely wouldn't call it game of the month. It was a very one sided match from the start and red team pretty much failed to even get their foot in the door. It was definitely well played by blue team, but there was no excitement or drama from a viewing perspective

Yeah this isn't game of the month; this match can basically be summed up as : Marauders ran by (as usual) and then bombers killed the enemy team. A bog standard BAR match.

definitely not game of the month. I was looking at it and expecting to become interesting . Basically the down right is where the game was lost . That tzar wasnt used to max capability when given the chance . There was no air on losing team . A ... meh game ? Am I too harsh ?

Absolutely can take just listening as a compliment. While I usually go for podcast for chores at home background noise, the BAR addiction phase put your casts into the rotation sometimes as well. Though not as efficient as I sometimes have to stop and rewind for visuals when the action is really popping.

I'm surprised that backline players don't build static AA as an insurance policy

Best game this month ? The bar (pun intended) for that is really quite high. If this was a bunch of 40+ OS players doing shenanigans; it might be. But alas; i think not.

In honor of the people saying this video is clickbait, I vote that the next upload be a real troll post to rile 'em up. Make the title either actual horrible clickbait (Gone Wrong! Gone Sexual! Cops Called!) or idk, try to hit the character limit with a story about a time you went fishing or something, have fun with it.

Brightworks himself was clickbaited by recommendation and decided to pass it along with the question mark as a cheeky insurance policy. If he already put in the effort of recording the reaction/casting might as well upload. Bog standard match at least in good company. When this is the problem of the day life is good.

I have the same criticism of the RTS genre as I do with chess, they both aren't fun to lose. Yes you can have fun losing, but it just isn't that fun to lose no matter how you slice the pie. I don't play DOTA type MOBAs but I assume they are like that too from what I have seen. I know a lot of RTS fans will say well the other team should just all agree to resign, but if people are not having fun and not really trying that hard to coordinate I just don't think it is going to end up being fun when playing with randoms. I mean I like chess and I also love RTS games but I think there is a wisdom in game design innovations like the battle royale genre where the *story* of your game isn't obsessed with this all or nothing existential zero-sum struggle with an opponent. You can have an amazing round in a battle royale game like pubg, and not really even be close to winning. Maybe you could build a t3 skateboard for your commander and get Style Points for doing tricks on it that don't actually matter, you just see a little picture of your commander at the end of the game with their skateboard score (again, utterly meaningless to winning the game). Or maybe you could build special experimental t3 hats that your commander can wear that look cool but take an insane amount of resources to make.

For game oof the month, I kept waiting for the monster come back of the red team. Now I am disappointed.

No idea whats wrong with people always playing the same map and always playing 8v8.

Why is this considered a good game at all? Just a lopsided match from start to finish
