It's sad you can't get the other 1.12.2 mods to 1.20.4

Yes! Fabric is just too good. I got insane performance improvement, and this is still using Optifine. Imagine these mods on Sodium

Been playing it on a device that probably shouldnt be played on (had to use my phone since my laptop is old) and i wanna know, will they keep updating this version? It seems a bit small and i really want to see roofs and bricks to my world now (also im not sure if its also a bug for others but my games seems to have a 3rd inventory menu option that i cant get to?)

I hope miniatura and rojiura comes to 1.20.4 too

That would be amazing! Imagine these 3 mods on Sodium. One of the problems with 1.12.2 was the performance and loading time. But at least Miniaturia got a CIT pack for MC 1.20.4. I tried combining it with Cocricot and it crashed the texture.

I'm really looking forward for Kality to make a Coraline House:)

Hello! this is my first time downloading mods ever, i know this video is not meant to go in depth about how to make the optifabric/api/optifine work, but is there any other video that explains how? the only ones i´ve found talk about 1.12 minecraft....... and its not really that easy to do without a tutorial 💀💀

I recommend watching "How To Download & Install Fabric" as well as "How to Install OptiFabric 1.20.1" by The Breakdown. I think he did a great job explaining, from the installation of Fabric to Optifabric itself. Once you have installed Fabric, you'll notice that installing mods are just as simple as drag and drop. I'll work on a tutorial to install Fabric, Fabric API, Optifine etc in context of Cocricot though.

Whoever decided which version should have releases is whack. 16.1, 19.3, 19.4, 1.20.4. ffs. Neat mod if you wanna play on obsolete versions.

IKR you understand my frustration. I'm not mad at Cocricot, but there are mods that only work on 1.12.2, 1.16, 1.19, 1.20.1. And not only that, there's also Fabric, Forge, Quilt, NeoForge. That's the reason why never go outside of my comfort zone that is 1.12.2 🤣🤣

I put everything in the correct folders but it still isnt working for me, would you be able to make a more in depth video?

@@Kalitayymine crashed, i used BSL shaders, i turned it off but it still crashed, it said "The game crashed whilst unexpected error Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.class_1297.method_5705(float)" because "renderViewEntity" is null"

@@Kalitayy Hope so! It worked but when I joined, instead of the furniture be there, there was a block with "Please load resource pack for mod" even though it's loaded already

I did as you said, but when I opened the game the mods didn't work (they don't exist). What should I do? : c I couldn't find anything about what I should do.

I have a question! I followed the steps and got this mod to work, but there's a bunch of furnature blocks you have that I don't see on mine! I heard with 1.12.2 you need a mod to load and use the extra blocks. Do you need something like that for 1.20.4? Or no?

@@angeleliza-kl3is sorry, for responding to this late! But I realized a few things. 1. I hadn't properly changed the installation in Minecrafts launcher to: "fabric-loader-1.20.4" 2. I realized this file: "cloth-config-13.0.121-fabric.jar" in the mods folder had "forge" instead of "fabric" in the file name. Meaning I downloaded the wrong one. 3. When you open up the game, make sure in the main menu screen you see: "OptiFine_1.20.4_HD_U_I7" in the bottom left corner. Under that should read: "Minecraft 1.20.4/Fabric (Modded)" 4. Check in "Options" > "Resource Packs" that you have the 3 resource packs for cocricot, and 1 that says "Fabric Mods." These are pretty specific things, so idk if you can relate. But I wish you luck! If you haven't already figured it out.

Yes, you can. Just install the cocricot_forMOD zip only. Don't install the file called cocricot_for1.20.4_v1.1

why there is no mod for cocricot 1.20.1? there is only the resourcepack and i can't see all the items and building stuff in my game when i open inventory :( it only shows up the basic stuff but with cute texture

This is my favorite mod and you've made a nice guide, but I could've really used instructions on installation for the newest version. I have tried everything and it will not load. There is also no guide on the website either.

Why does my short grass look vanilla?

I have tried combining it with biome generation mods like Terralith and Tectonic, and it worked. I'm not really sure about Twilight Forest though, since Cocricot is still in snapshot. I tried combining it with CIT packs the other day and I crashed. It's still quite unstable.

I wish this mod was on curseforge.

Yes, but only for the Vanilla blocks. To access the new blocks like sofas, tables, etc you can only do it on Creative unfortunately

Yes, it's currently *only* for MC 1.20.4. The 1.20.1 one isn't the mod, only a texture pack
