Sure thing! Agreed, it's a beautiful UX with Whisper on the backend. There are also improvements beyond the baseline Whisper, like speaker detection, playback controls, export options, etc. All-in-all, a perfect service 👍

This is a very good soft online. Using what you showed us before harder to use with the Google Drive coding thing. But it's SO STUPID it can't translate anything in a language that is not English... Like, why OpenAI ?! So frustrating!

Very good assistant but, unfortunately, 30 min for free is definetely not enough. Even in your sample we can see a very short text which even doesn't fill a full Word page -- too little. An hour for free must be the least appropriate option. Why can't they use an adverisement model? Let it be an obligatory ad to watch/listen but a 1 hour of recognition, for instance

Seriously, 30x3 min per day of awesome, easy transcription for free is incredibly generous. Just for your info, it's almost definitely not free for TurboScribe. They probably have to pay OpenAI to give us that "free" audio. If they couldn't make money through paid plans, they wouldn't be able to give us anything free.

I just use whisper in the command line and then I save the txt file on my disk.

Both use the OpenAI Whisper model on the backend, so you'll get similar accuracy. However, this offers some capabilities beyond what you get from baseline Whisper, for example, you'll get a simple and intuitive UX, playback and editing tools, detects speakers, multiple export options, and can extract text from low quality audio using additional AI models. Hope that helps!

Hello Sir, I am building a spreadsheet with 7 columns and 2500 rows. Column A is just a reference column, B is dates column which are fine, column C is with Validation drop down codes list, column D is products details with drop down, tested and working all down to 2500 rows. Column E is payments and F is Income, G is balance (Balance column work as it should) now I need your input in column E and F, If I select from column C (Codes Drop Down List) for Sales, Refund, Finance or Cash Back The entry should only allow me the income column which is column F and if selected payment from C column (Codes) it should allow me to enter in payments column. In income column I have 4 source of income and payments I have about 44 or it may grow prior (My code list and details list grows as it should). I need help using validation (Custom) in these two columns E & F, so that the entry don't get switched between two column E & F. Your help will be appreciated and thanks a lot if you could help.. (I use Excel 2000)

Or, just use MS Word Transcribe function if you have Office 365

It’s not free as most of his recommendations. It’s called clickbait.

Bogus AI. Maybe it does a good job with English, but with Bengali is a total failure. Oh my God, it did not understand a bit and few words if it did, the spellings...oops. I tried the same file in front of the Microphone with Google Voice typing and a similar voice typing extension. Both did the job the 1000th time better.
