Writer’s Duet is my favorite and I use it even though I own Final Draft because I like to use Word for outlining and you can copy from Word and paste right into Writer’s Duet. You can’t do that in Final Draft

Is it crazy that I was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a Film Riot commercial mid-roll? I'm not saying I watch videos just for Film Riot created ads, I would have been happy with Josh dancing to turbulent displacement.

For lack of a better way to describe my emotions..... Dude, thank you...... And of course, I knew some of these, but there's a lot here. I had no idea about. Also on another note. this is for anybody reading this. OK, so I use notion and Milanote:out And also obsidian. with canvases, which is. kind of an offline version of Milanote .. And all of those are great for organizing my projects. I pretty much do all the writing and. shot lists and so on in those programs. with an occasional Google Doc. So, my question is what is? The reasoning behind A scriptwriter software? Just organization? I've never used one. "Maybe I should check it out". But if anybody has some insight, please elaborate. When it comes to organization, The software's I've listed do a pretty good job of that. So. Anyway, amazing resources makes me absolutely stoked..

I can’t locate the video you created but in it you showed an app or software that allowed you to org every beat/scene into a single document which resulted with a single page showing your entire script, start to finish. I’m dying to find a tool like this. What would you recommend? Thanks. (Yes, this is all new to me. I wrote best-seller and have a feature that was made and I’m now trying to work on my own sp).

In film crux there is something that can be used in davinci? I can’t see, just for premiere pro, am I wrong?

I can't wait until AI assistance is brought into NLEs that would allow you to just uses text or voice to integrate different plugins. Being able to do something like generative AI VFX, with just the kinds of directions I would otherwise give to editors would be really nice. Not to replace people, but just streamline some of the more pre-vis-type workflow and things that seem less approachable like 3D animation.

I need foley sounds for a broadcasting project , are there any such sites that give free music and foley elements and have no objection even if it get broadcast one day .... ?

Hi Film Riot! Are you guys able to recreate the Star Map Scene from Ahsoka episode 2 and 4? Essentially it’s when they unlock a map that reveals astronomical map surrounding the characters, it’s very eye appealing! love all of your tutorial videos on how you recreate visual effects from movies/television shows!
