Congratulations! One of the few Raptor owners who actually knows the capabilities of his truck, and does a proper cleared - out jump without trying to take off a runway like a Boeing 747. Very well done!

+John Billings If you are refering to the Raptor not being built tough, you didn't read the whole article they state the raptor is very well built but because it is so well built it makes people push them farther than any production vehicle can go. they aren't actual race trucks but have actually competed and won in stock form. And it would be true, compared to many other raptors that were jumped in youtube videos. This one had some really soft landings.

Landings are so smooth its crazy. You got big balls my sir.

Hugh Jass Not at all haha. The Ram Runner is a dressed up 1500. Chrysler kept the same engine and shitty transmission. All Ram did basically was put on a new bumper. Ford put in a new 6.2L engine. Also the Raptor has Fox racing shocks.

Dangerzone You are thinking of the Ram Rebel. The Ram Runner is in a completely different league. It is as close to a real pre-runner you can get with a warranty.

Jake Johnson That's why you never buy used cars unless you have money set aside for repairs. Every car my family has bought new has lasted 10 or more yrs no prob. Everytime we buy a used car, even if it's only a yr or 2 old, it's a disaster, regardless of make, this applies to ford,toyota and kia, as well as bmw, Nissan etc.

If you know how to drive (like these guys), you'll have no problems. I've even done this once in my 2011 Ford Expedition, never had a problem.

It is designed for small jumps with inclined landings. If he landed flat at those heights the shocks would bust instantly. Those inclined landings are smooth as silk for it.

Im not much of a ford person but i must say, those raptors make badass racing trucks.

These things are nuts. Mine has a hennessey supercharge system in it. Off roading is awesome and don't even get me started on jumps haha

I know there are calculations to determine the landing, but I'm sure it's quite difficult to figure out the distance needed when jumping a truck! Good stuff!!

Awesome to see you actually use your truck. I see so many of these in the hands of business men that use them to tote around the family and drive down graded dirt roads with maybe one puddle to get to their camper trailer on Lake whatever. Mechanically that truck will last forever, cosmetically it may be rough but hey its a truck.

People don't realize this is the what the truck is made for, not mudding. Its a production baja truck. Those Fox racing shocks and beefed up front suspension are there for a reason.
