Living in casper, I love going out fishing. Been to the ugly bug a time or 2 very nice shop. Nothing is better than fishing in Wyoming

I've fished that boat ramp several times...it is, without a doubt, the fishiest boat ramp in the world!!! The Slay Bay, The Reef, The Mile, and Freemont Canyon are all great places and I go back year after year.

Casper definitely has some great fishing I was born here so it’s nice to see someone talk about it

My sons and I fish with Austin several times a year (we’re from Denver) and really get spoiled by the huge rainbows and browns at the miracle mile and the Gray Reef. Crazy Rainbow is very accommodating and friendly, and they make setting up a trip a piece of cake. We alway look forward to our next visit to Casper!

I grew up with Austin, known him since we were both in kindergarten. Definitely going to have to make a trip home and go check out the shop, I'd love to do a guided trip with him

I drove past that lodge last week and said to my self man that's a nice cabin bet there's good fishing there too. Now I know it's a fly fishing resort!

Mark, great fly fishing adventures to take us on. It would be great to always mention more details about your leader setup and line types. Us older beginners need this help inorder not to waste time since we don't have much of it. Your 3 fly set up was good info on this video but I am not sure if you have weight or not.

I live in Colorado but have never gone to the North Platte in Casper

North Platte trout are the hardest fighting fish I have ever caught,

i was fishing under a bridge in casper on the bank and hooked up with a 6lb brown. Casper is definitely a go to for trout and walleye fishing

Its funny because I'm from Idaho Falls and fish the South fork, henrys fork, teaton, and the fall in the summer, but I go to the University of Wyoming so I fish all the sections of the North Platte in the fall and spring. It just so happens that you covered them all in the new fly fisher.

That’s actually pretty awesome! So cold here in denver the last few days I’ve just been glued to KZread videos and have been wanting to get out to Casper for a while now. I think it’s only a 3 or 4 hour drive from here!

We used to it the banks on the Horn with super heavy woollies on nasty, dark days...just float the whole 13 miles on a Kamikaze mission. Would see some of the bigger browns on the river doing that....waaaay fun! Cannibalistic bastards!

Great catches!! Just a heads up brother, when you're in Casper you gotta be careful of a rather infamous resident. KingCobraJFS aka Josh is a crazy goth boglin warlock who roams around trying to cast spells at people while smoking weed.

Did you use a barbless hooks?

Sinkers, floats, jig heads, bait, multiple hooks? It looks like fly fishing is evolving into gear fishing.
