My favorite was the one where they would replay the finisher like 3 times. I forgot which game it was but that plus the sound design added some oomph to every finisher

The pedigree & spear combo looks like the worst feeling ever 😂😂😂

Back when wwe games were about fun instead of realism.

That Booker T, Benoit, and Eddie G. segment might be the greatest thing I've ever seen in a wrestling game.

This game looks better then most the 2k games.

Yes they are, but the way they make you look in cutscenes as a created wrestler looks a bit funny but still good times.

See this is how the finishers are supposed to look back when the games were actually selling every move and makes it feel real

2:07 thats a great attention to detail if the rock didn't have either of his elbow bands he would go to the arm that does have one but if theres none he jus does the rest of the move

I just wanted to point out despite receiving a super RKO, a buzz saw kick and a clothesline from hell, Cena STILL kicked out before 3, but the ref was crooked and counted 3 anyways.

The Whole SmackDown Vs Raw series was so dope to me great times I remember me and the homies would all bring our PS3 controllers (6 in total) and link up at either one of the homies house and play 6 man money in the bank matches that was SvR 2010.

this is the type of game that you can feel

This and Here Comes The Pain are the best game in the series. Also Shut Your Mouth, 2007, 2008 & 2011.

I like how the finishers actually ended the matches vs 2k I gotta hit multiples finisher moves and a basic close line to end a match

Yeah I feel like thats lame from 2K. The pin should be on Easy or Medium mode when hit with basic moves. Pin should go difficult when hit by a finisher.

Despite all wwe games available..still playing this game to this day. Balanced graphics and gameplay. Plus invested too much already in this game with my hundreds of CAWs lol

@@youngtruthspitta3655 the trick i did was that one memory card can give u 30 CAW save slots, so use one memory card for a single wwe year. For example use Wrestlemania 11 as the roster for your wwf year 1995. The extra slots is for other lesser non ppv wrestlers for that year like Mantaur, Waylon Mercy, Isaac Yankem,etc. This will give a sort of theme for ur CAWs at the same time organize all ur creations so u can play matches as it actually happened in that year. Memory card nowadays are cheap but using Mcboot with ulaunchELF will even give u infinite folders for ur saves. BTW im now into PG era roster 2008-16. Its just fun making CAWs for this game.. ofcourse with GS hacks.

The thing I liked about these games so much is that each superstar had there own unique looking moves, from the finishers, to the punches. They even had their own unique stances and movements. I feel like the current 2k games have really lost that level of detail and it's a little disappointing.

I swear, my scripting and predicting the AI has gotten better since I started watching these videos in 2k22. And this provides me with some interesting ideas. Can't wait 'til my play station controller comes. I am going to play the hell outta these classics

This is my 2nd favorite wrestling game of all time the svr series was so much fun growin up as a kid but nothing and I mean nothing will rope smack down here comes the pain till this day that game was legendary

These were the days, good story modes and characters and graphics not to mention the moveset was way better than 2k now

It’s only 2nd gen. Ps5 is only 3 gens away. And some old stuff do things better. They may have had better creators, whereas as now they have greater tech but shitty creators.

SvR 2006 & 2007(despite the weapons glitches; not connecting), were ahead of their time. & 2008 wasn't bad, besides ECW being a 3rd brand, & I think what really messed that up, was Chris Benoit being removed, from the incident, or else ECW would've been really great.

I believe this was the last wwe game I’ve ever played. This one or 05. Maybe u had this one on pre order but never bought it,

So the animations in 06 were better than today's 2K efforts.

It's so good. Just unbelievable nowadays they are not able to do cool stuff like that. I wish I had this game and a PS2 😂 I never had one. Always played at my friends or watched them play.. my mom didn't allow me to play violent games. 😅

I know that last sentence all too well. My mom hated wrestling especially when it was the divas on TV doing it. I did have SvR06 on PS2 but I had to cover up the cursing and blood in the game lol.
