Best FERMENTED PICKLED Eggs Ever..

Today we are fermenting eggs, a delicious way to preserve your extra eggs.
It’s a wonderful snack for the kiddos or an addition to a sandwich.
Fermented jalapeño eggs
6-12 hard boiled eggs
2 chopped picked jalapeños
1/2 small onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic minced
1-3 Tbs sea salt
Layer everything together in large mouth quart jar.
Add salt water.
Set on counter for 3-5 days
Put in cold storage
Enjoy!

I use some pineapple vinegar I make found trom by a Mexican Abuela or homemade kraut juice juice as a starter

How much water did you use yes I'm a newbie on this to Oh the Joyce's garlic I planted is coming up about 2 inches now I'm so excited to see how it turns out

What exactly is Cold storage. Are these shelves safe in a cool place or do they have to be refrigerated?

Cold storage is like a root cellar basement that stays cool or refrigeration. Happy pickling !
When you say that they're really for cold storage does that mean they have to be refrigerated? I've never fermented anything.

You can ferment all kinds of veggies in the same way 🎉
When you eat all the eggs out of the fermentation, can you just add more eggs to the same liquid?

I tend to not because eggs can get kind of get funky and can cause issues.
Wow!! I have heard of pickled quail eggs but not regular chicken eggs. I’ll be doing this. When you talk about cold storage after 5 days are you talking about putting them in the refrigerator?

Add up to 2 Tbps and add enough water to cover the eggs it will be different with each depending on how many eggs you can fit in the jar. Happy fermenting! Blessings

Water glassing is where you put clean unwashed eggs and pickling lime and can store that in a large pickle jar with water and pickling lime for 12 to 18 months
I don't think I have ever eaten pickled eggs.
