It will not be cold in May, unless it rains. But do check the current weather in Nainital and its very much pleasant in May. Enjoy your trip. :) But do take warm clothes for baby as the breeze can be cold because of lake.

Yes we took a driver, Since we had our baby with us.
होटल के बाहर बहुत straight चढ़ाई है, जो की बिल्कुल comfortable नहीं है। Staying currently here, Not worth it.
