I got a fake one too and I can't smell any difference to the original. Only difference is that the fake is gone after 1,5 hour

Yeah you confirmed it for me (That it's a fake) The batch code I have is the same one you had. The oud wood fragrance I have does spray the same way sauvage nozzles do! This is the absolute best method of deciphering thank you!

Gre video. I ve the original and the same. Differences of package etc but it smells very VERY similar it's crasy!

my cap is plastic like original but has sprayer like sauvage can it be fake ?

Just got a fake, compared it to the one I bought at the airport and its obvious, lesson learned.

I'm at work. Tonight I wore a decant of OW and it smells different and more tolerable than the big bottle I own. I'm checking the cap soon as I get home. I notice when I wear the large bottle, I sneeze quite a bit. It has a scent more comparable to Comet and doesn't last my whe 12hr shift like some TF does. I paid pretty pennies for it on ebay too. Of course it's too late to do anything about it so it has me 2nd guessing is I really want to find out the truth.

Also another thing to note about this fake is the fire symbol at the back of the bottom casing, the legit one does NOT have a box around the fire, the fake one does. There are so many of the fake ones being sold and bid on through eBay… Oh and the ingredients stated are different. It looks like a very good fake though! Be careful people 🤞🏼

Happened to me more than once, especially if you’re in a bit of a rush. But glad you at least managed to get a refund, that’s the main thing.

Yeah for sure, lucky I noticed soon enough to get one, I contacted the seller straight away and they said they had no idea….. I don’t know what to believe anymore though 😂

Same exact scenario happened to me purchased from Etsy. Resembled the scent though

It's nice when you buy a fake and the seller actually reimburses you. I've gotten tricked twice and both sellers were horrible. Ever since those two mistakes, i've been very careful and been safe so far. Real vs fake videos are life savers 👍

This is why I pay full price at an Tom Ford Authorized dealer. No bullshit. Just the real deal fragrance.

Yeah it’s the best way! But of course I like to get a good deal when I can and save that 💸 especially as I’m buying a lot for videos etc.

Somebody got me with Versace bright crystal I believe so cause everytime i spray it it’ll last like 5 or 10. Minutes and honestly it smelled exactly like Versace bright crystal

I just got one just like it from Amazon WITH a box. It smelled nothing like TF OW. The funny thing is it actually smells pretty good (whatever it is).

Funny I purchased one ebay £100, i am use to oud and this not that strong enough looks like less strong but bottle, box all details original, its hard to tell from bottle or box because looks like they have refilled it with something else inside but almost same like original

How similar is the smell and performance.

the real ones always have silicone beneath the atomizer.. this bottle has metal

actually the font on the front lebel and bottom label(batch code as well) are already lil off. I could hv easily caught it. But i understand as u said u dont hv much experience with TFs so u had to face this.

It’s so easy to do and the bastards certainly fool a lot of people - it’s all in the detail!

$120 for a new 100ml TF oud wood was your first mistake. People continue to blow my mind…

Better don't buy parfume without box... Don't trust reject , mostly bottle is original but the liquid is not... If you check batchcode will be Leggett... 😌

Thanks for the comment, that’s a great point! You should always compare labels. On the real bottle the grey colour is quite different, however the font is the same. It’s easy to see the colour difference when you have a real bottle to compare it to however I’m sure some fakes have updated that too😢. But not everyone has a real one to compare with that’s why I discussed details about the structure of the bottle as the bottle itself is harder for these fakers to change than a label.

@@scentury I just got a decanter of cafe rose and had to return it today. It was in cellophane and everything but the scent was not strong at all and it didn't quite smell right. The only thing off on it was the label was slightly crooked but I noticed that on stuff from nordstrom before so I have no idea how they are faking this shit but it's disappointing
