most of them are terrible quality and end up being a waste of money. mainly because drugstore is so expensive these days. she’s mentioned in multiple videos that she doesn’t like drugstore eyeshadows & i think she doesn’t use them unless pr’d or highly requested/she think it might be good.

for eyeshadow palettes it ends up being worth it to either just buy 1 high end palette, or wait for sales. sephora sales are AMAZING. I just got Huda Beauty’s Amethyst Obsessions pallet for $13. sephora brand pallets are also fairly nice.

You’re honestly better off getting a $10 pallet from Sephora than a $20 one from the drugstore. Like from Colourpop or Morphe. Everything other makeup product has great alternatives in the drugstore but when it comes to eyeshadow pallets….it’s like the my gave up 😭

Just went to use mine today and the shade Belle was slightly broken 😩 hopefully it doesn’t break anymore I absolutely love that palette too!!

I personally know the Family that made the Aurora Palette. One of my faves.

That CT Dreams quad makes me so sad that I missed the Fire Rose quad.

I gotta disagree solely based on price v quality, good lord I couldn't! I jumped on the chance to get the Glamlite x Mikayla collection when it went on 50% after Thanksgiving, and it thoroughly blew my socks off! I owe my gratitude to Johnny Ross for sending me to it! 😍

Kaleidos is my favorite for shadows and highlighters!!

You can definitely tell what eye shadow colors you lean to lol! I wish there would’ve been more with different shades but to each their own

The Kaleidos and TF ones seem to have poor colour payoff, but maybe it's just a trick of the camera. Glamimatrix looks good.

The Kaleidos quads are insanely pigmented, I have that purple one and it's easily the best ever purple matte formula I've ever tried. Also blends like a dream.

Literally. All the big palettes are the same, down to the pop of lavender and light green. Then the CT & TF quads are identical and can be found in any drugstore for much less than $90

​​@@kpstl26 Even the small palettes in warm tones, not to mention that these colours were already included in the big palettes. Don't get me wrong the big palettes are gorgeous. I just have a hard time with it because this seems like a very limited selection if you tried 107 palettes. Makes it hard to take her advice seriously ...

I'm going to tell you all now, the fact that she put the 4 panned 90% Tom Ford and that crappy Huda beauty pallet on this list and Pat Mcgrath's Alien pallet was nowhere on this list tells me I can't trust her. The Alien pallet literally last forever, HIGHLY, HIGHLY pigmented and depending on which color pallet you buy, you won't really need anything else until it runs out

It's her full time job as a makeup reviewer and these types of content creators get sent PR, which is essentially free makeup to review

Creator’s definitely should do a lot more giveaways! They get so so much that often just sits there never to be used. With the price of everything gone up, a lot of people cannot afford to buy makeup or skincare. Even buying a drug store lipstick can be a treat. I think that creators don’t really grasp just how much makeup they have or what it’s really worth, or can be worth, to other people. I really wish I was a creator because I would 100% do continuous giveaways. Why keep all of that for yourself for it to ho bad when you can make someone else happy. It might even give someone the confidence they need to push forward and follow their dreams or apply for a job that they always wanted to apply for but didn’t have the confidence to do so. “The power of makeup” …it should be shared.
