BEST Exercises To Build The Inner Chest Muscles

This video is in response to a question that was sent in from a member of the Total Fitness Bodybuilding Facebook Group @ / total.fitness.bodybuil...
Stephen wanted to know the best exercises for building the center / inner chest?
The main thing you need to realize when it comes to building the chest is that you cannot really isolate one specific area of the chest muscles completely. Anytime you do a chest exercise - be that a bench press, dumbbell fly, push up, pec deck, dip, etc. you're going to work the entire chest, including the Inner Chest.
However, there are certain movements that can place more emphasis on the center chest area and help you feel the inner chest muscles working.
To focus on the inner chest more you need to include exercises where you have a peak contraction such as a Pec Deck Fly Machine or a Cable Cross Over Machine because these movements will really target the inner chest.
In this video I'll explain how to incorporate these movements into your chest workouts so you can build up the inner chest muscles for a bigger more muscular looking chest.
Note: To achieve defined chest muscles, you need a combination of muscle-building exercises to add size to the chest. But you also need to lose any excess bodyfat that's covering the muscles. Even if you have a lot of mass in your chest - you'll never see the definition if it's covered with a layer of bodyfat.
So if you need help with losing fat and getting that lean defined look, I recommend that you download a copy of my "Ripped After 40" ebook. This is a Free PDF download that will explain how you can lose the fat and do so while enjoying your life in the process, without feeling like you're suffering on some restrictive low calorie cutting diet, and feeling miserable in the process.

Great video and I completely agree - most don't understand that muscles work in their entirety when you work them. That said, its time for a beard, Lee.

Glad you like the video, but I don't think I can grow a full beard - I've tried but still got gaps 🧔

That was my thought for over 30 years and then I did an experiment. I went four months without trimming it and low and behold the gaps filled in. If you give it time you may unlock the baddest beard ever! @@TotalFitnessBodybuilding
