I'm northern, we're genetically evolved for the pub. When I'm flush I go to celebrate and when I'm broke I go to drown my sorrows. If you see a dog in a pub, he's usually the excuse used to get there especially if he's overweight due to lack of the walks he's supposed to be getting and probably so is the owner.
Also going to the pub on a Monday is called the 'Monday Club.' 👍
I've only been to the UK three times but love the pub culture there.

Ranman You are right on Point. Love Eng.ish and Scottish Ales. Is there a Welsh Ale ?
How about a Wake in a pub or christening, Wetting the Babies head, Engagement celebration, A Retirement drink up, Leaving a job for a new one, Or someone’s son has returned from the Army all these and many more are all valid reasons to go to the pub.

As you know, if the average husband in the U.S. used any of those excuses to go somewhere by himself practically everyday, the wife would get very suspicious & think he was cheating on her. But in reality, he's going to the pub. 😁
Hiya. Although it's right to concentrate on adults at the pub, maybe you could make a 'families at the pub' video? So you don't need to find babysitters, etc.. I don't think this is a thing in the States, certainly not where Bars are concerned, so it might surprise your fellow countrymen somewhat. Myself, I only go to the pub when the day of the week has a 'Y' in it. Stay safe. All the best to you.
