Vampstache is the best.. if your king dies then he is useless. vampstache allows him to regain most or all of his HP which can save to tank later in the battle or survive and finish off the last few % on the base.. At th 10 my king was quite often finishing the battle alive and whipping the last 10-15%.

it depends my guy. If you want your King to funnel outside then go for GG and Vamp but if you want him inside for tanking GG and Rage or GG and Quake(If you are using ground attacks and needed to open up inside)
Giant Gauntlet + Rage Vial is for smash attacks Giant Gauntlet + Vampstache is for funneling outside Giant Gauntlet + Quake boots is for ground attacks w/o jump spell
