I've never had goosebumps all over my body over such an extensive amount of time, this episode is RIDICULOUS. An underrated favourite moment of mine is when Ubuyashiki said "No one has forgiven you. Not once, in over thousand years" and then all the light ball thingys, representing all the grudges, swirling around Muzan becoming one and then the music hitting hard once we get the visual of the tiger and dragon behind them and all the Hashira turning to glare. Goosebumps the whole time! I'm so satisfied with the fact that Ubuyashiki got to spit his bars, pissed off Muzan by doing so AND denied him the satisfaction of killing him by doing it himself. Bro and his family ATE

Actually, I"ve seen a lot of reactors who made the connection -not to take anything away from Kiss and Hayley, their reactions are very good. So far, of all the reactors I've watched, only one figured out from the start that it was NOT Muzan who blew up the mansion - one other fellow I saw figured it out before Muzan made his declaration. But almost everyone else is as shocked as Muzan that Ubayashiki blew up himself and his family.

Too bad Nakime was going able to find around 60% of the demon slayers. So about 40% of the demon slayer core is still untouched.

Muzan really had the gall to say he's never received any divine punishment, when the guy would literally be incinerated when exposed to the sun. 😂

But clearly Yorichi was in a whole other league than the ones he fought that he realized he was outmatched and that if he DIDNT run he would have been finished off and gotten that divine punishment that he claimed he never encountered.🤣

I choose to believe Gyomei was crying so much in this arc because he knew his master would die in a few days' time. :(

They didn't even know what they saw, what the f are you even talking about? And why do you assume they didn't tell the others what they saw? And if they did tell that they saw something, how would they even know what it really is, how it works or who it belongs to? How would they even assume to know how to counter it? Was it an illusion? Another dimension? Just mind control? With the limited information or assumption they had, there was nothing to do at all. Worse than no information are ways half truths. @@therichn4314 Its not a bad plot its just generic. But the fact that the show is soooo good despite that indicates the quality of the anime as a whole. The plot may be unoriginal but the characters, character development, music and especially the animation are all top notch. You can hate on the plot but one single thing does not make or break an anime. gotta look at everything.

It’s is estimated that gyomei’s weapon weighs about 110 kgs excluding the chain, spikes, and knife, it is known as the kusarigama but a more modified and modern version of it. I think this is the reason why gyomei couldn’t partake in the hashira training against the other hashira because his weapon can literally accidentally kill someone.

19:50 so yea, althought ufotable is producing this anime... for this episode if you check the credits, there are 6 studios that were involved. among them 2 studios are well know for 2D/3D work which we call 2.5D. all the explosions, muzan's skull brain, blood demon seeds and thrones were all 3D structure that were later turned into 2D which we call it toon-shading. more or less, this episode was like a trail to see if they can work together on it for coming project. and the response from screening was too good. so the same studio artist that worked for this episode would be working for the 3 movies arc.

The scene before the explosion literally explains why Ubuyashiki Head doesn't have a single bodyguard. They are always prepared to die with the trap they set for Muzan. Still many of reactors assumed it was Muzan who blew up the mansion. 🤣

You're making assumptions. Gyomei literally said that Ubuyashiki had the ability of foresight, so he knew when Muzan was coming. Secondly, the Hashira also said that Ubuyashiki values the Hashira so much, that he feels it is a waste for them to protecting him. The show is giving you answers and you still feel the need to make up stuff.

Also you think Ubuyashiki had enough explosives brought in within 5 days to blow up the entire compound without a single one of the Hashiras stationed in every single cardinal direction even noticing? You think people are making assumptions because they spot things you fail to notice? That's a commentary on your observation skills, not their analytical skills.

Rengoku's cameo at the Taisho era bit also brings back home to Ubuyashiki's comment about the human will being eternal. Rengoku's memories and voice still lives on in others and his will was literally reaching out to Tanjiro and Mitsuri to encourage them, it's very beautiful, whereas with Muzan once he dies, ALL demons will die, there is no legacy with him at all once he goes unlike us good ol' humans

The special thing about Demon Slayer is the narative. Ubuyashiki speech to Muzan in this episode was so great. Also the eerie feeling in many episodes of Demon Slayer from season 1 to this scene where the two children singing an old song were executed really well. The music and visual are stunning as always.

Meteor hammer or just meteor. A morning star is just a spiked ball on a stick, basically a mace. The Japanese equivalent would be the Kusarigama, but a real one would have a much smaller ball on the end.

@@ATSaale my information is that it can be a pole or a chain with a handle although not typically that long. im sure its a japanese specific configuration but i would still prefer morning star over meteor hammer personally. its basically the same thing. a morning star could easily be a meteor in the sky. spiky ball is the important bit for me.

Gyomei, the Stone Hashira's weapon is a mix between a Japanese Kusarigama (hook and long chain) and an European Flail (spiked ball and short chain, but pretty much a beefed up version of it with as well with a much longer chain and the hook looks like the size of an entire axe head. Just pure awesomeness.

Zenitsu finally locks in ⚡️

The Infinity Castle arcs will be over in 3 movies part 1/2/3. The animation director who choreographed the Upper 6 fight with Tanjiro/Tengen will be reprising his role for all the fight scenes in the Infinity Castle and Showdown arcs (last two arcs of Demon Slayer). - You can see the style already in Gyomei's Stone Breathing Style 😜 Ufotable has been given a "white" check for budget for the movies for these final arcs.... you know what that means!!!
