You mean in terms of privacy laws? Great question. To be honest, I haven't really looked into that (yet) so I must owe you an answer on that ... sorry. If this is really important to you then my advice would be to contact the email companies in my top recommendation and ask them this same question.

As of now, my goal is to be the best source for email marketing reviews and tutorials. When I mastered this 'scene' I will branch out to other tools :-)

I'm still not sure about it. My workplan is that I'll email 18000 clients at least 5 times in a month, translating to 90,000 emails. Could you suggest an affordable tool for this? I don't need extra features and webinars, just simple email campagins and newsletters for now. One of my colleagues suggested Brevo, which is by far the most affordable ones. Thoughts?

Brevo Starter is indeed one of the cheapest options when using your requirements (90,000 emails and 18,000 subs). Another one that is cheaper for your current requirements is Zoho Campaigns Standard (not listed in my current video) but will be in an updated one in the future.

Thank you for the great video. I see no mention of 'Podia'. Have you heard of them? What is your opinion on Podia as an email software option? I would love your insights on Podia- do you have a video on it? How does it fit in with this excellent video on comparisons ? I'd love to know 🙏🏻

I need to say upfront, I've never used Podia myself. But when I had a quick look at their features page, I noticed they offer a lot more than just email marketing. This doesn't mean their email marketing is bad, but it also doesn't mean it's the best out there. They have a lot on their plate, so their focus might not be solely on email tools. From my time using platforms like Wix or Shopify, I've learned that if you're really after a top-notch email tool with all the bells and whistles, the built-in tools or extra apps from these platforms, like Podia, usually don't quite match up to tools made just for email marketing. This makes sense, as it's tough to be the best at everything. So, to wrap up, the right email tool for you really depends on what you're looking for and your requirements.

What's your take on Brevo Vs Omnisend for a fashion ecommerce site via wordpress woo commerce? Do you recommend a CRM tool? I like the organization and data analytics they give, but as a new small business I feel this won't matter till atleast over a year. Any advise?

I haven't tried Stanstore before ... For my store where I sell my ebooks, paperbacks and audio books I use Shopify. For my blog I use WordPress. I don't know whether or not you should add email marketing. If you can tell me more about your business I might be able to help. You can also send me an email.

Which FREE/Cheapest one would you chose for the following: 1)Ability to send cold emails. 2) Has an option to send SMS text, or ability to integrate sms text later on. 3) Bounceback notification if text or email didnt go through.4) really good deliverability

Good question. It's important to know this: you can separate email marketing tools into two buckets: cold email marketing tools and warm email marketing tools. Warm email marketing tools are the ones listed in this video. I have not yet created a video about the best cold email marketing tools. The difference between the two is that warm email marketing tools generally don't allow you to send emails to people who haven't given their consent for you to email them, which is essentially cold emailing. Long story short, sadly, I haven't done my due diligence in finding the best cold email tool. One suggestion: you can check out a tool called Insightly, but again, I haven't done an extensive review on them.

MailerLite will request some information from you, including your address and the content you intend to share in your newsletters. If you find that your content falls into a gray area, it could be a possible reason for not being accepted. However, if your topic is clearly not within the gray area, it is advisable to reach out to them and inquire about the specific reasons for your rejection. I do believe GetResponse and ConvertKit might be a bit easier in terms of the content they accept on their platform.

Great video! I'm looking for software that allows me to send marketing emails out and then manage onboarding when I (manually) approve someone to join my digital community (via Disciple Media) so that they receive an email saying their application has been successful and a text message to say that in case the email has gone into spam. Any suggestions please? Also needs to offer unlimited emails.

I haven't heard of that tool before. But it looks like it's for cold emailing. That's different from email marketing, which is about sending emails to people who have subscribed to your list. The tools in my video are email marketing tools and not cold emailing tools.

Good video, but am disappointed by the clickbait! You made that video 11 months ago, but it says "For 2024". You should either keep the 2023 title or make a new video with up to date information (i.e. Sendinblue is now brevo, and popular tool like beehive aren't covered). Thank you for sharing your insights. Even though the video was uploaded 11 months ago, the advice remains relevant, which is why I added "2024" to the title. Rest assured, my top picks for using MailerLite, ActiveCampaign, or Klaviyo are still the same. While there have been some changes, such as Sendinblue rebranding to Brevo, their fundamental offerings have largely stayed the same. Sure, there are some visual updates, but the essence of their service hasn't shifted enough to alter my recommendations. And yes, indeed, there are more than the 10 email marketing tools I discussed in this video. I plan to introduce additional tools, like Beehiiv, in an upcoming video. The reason I focused on just 10 tools in the initial video is due to the extensive time commitment required to thoroughly review each tool, as per my approach.
