Best dressed from the Cannes Film Festival 2021 | Bazaar UK
The Cannes Film Festival was back for 2021 and it's fashion made up for the unfortunate cancellation of last year's event. There was an impressive line up of films on the schedule this year, meaning we saw a constant stream of famous faces - from Jessica Chastain and Marion Cotillard to Bella Hadid - gracing the Croisette red carpet and ascending those iconic stairs. And, given the restrictions imposed upon us all over the last 18 months, the stars went all out when it comes to their style, embracing the return of a little glamour.
From Helen Mirren in Dolce & Gabbana and Andie MacDowell in Prada to Bella Hadid in Schiaparelli and Gemma Chan in Oscar de la Renta, above, we look back at the best fashion moments from the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Estoy muy consciente del talento de la marca D&G, pero en serio, sin importar las tendencias, el vestido de Sharon Stone parece de desfile de La Flor Más Bella del Ejido. Si me gustaron otros vestidos con flores que sacaron de esa colección.... Pero este la verdad esta muy naco. El de Helen Mirren por ejemplo, muy apropiado a su edad, se ve espectacular y elegante y es también de D&G. Sharon Stone se hubiese ido a cualquier tienda de 15ñeras y le sale más barato el ridículo. 🤷🏻♂️😆

That’s the problem with society, everyone wants to try and look younger than they are, but the neck and wrinkled skin doesn’t lie. I praise her for not trying to live up to other’s expectations and do her own thing and what makes her happy…… but, you’re entitled to your opinion!

She's so fabulous but i don't like that dress. Would look beautiful on a younger woman. Must feel divine to wear that creation though. I like to see her in more pared down lines. Simplicity.

The glamour is dead. We see the red carpet stars in 15 or 20 years back...it was like a dream. Today everything is vulgar and fake. Who saves a little aura of elegance are the older celebrities. I am a millennial but I have to say the young generations don't know what is grace, charm and fineness.

Bien dit! I am from Cannes, everyone is trying way too hard to pop up and the result is sometime comical or simply a désastre...some of the dresses are over the top just like the plastic faces!!! Rare are those with class and taste....that said it isn’t always up the the Stars to choose their dresses at these events!!
