Zendaaaaayyyyaa! Her beautiful gown is relatively understated because she is a presenter - and traditionally presenters usually try to not to take too much focus from nominees. Yet presenters are still to be glamorous. Zendaya perfectly balances expectations - and delightfully surpasses them. Her gorgeous gown subtly does some heavy lifting in the reminiscent of/hearkening back to/method dressing/relevance front on multiple levels. Let me count the ways: 1. The Palm Trees motif on that gorgeous gown are reminiscent of the Sacred Palm Trees seen in Denis Villeneuve's brilliant first installment of DUNE a couple of years ago. 2. The Palm Tree motif is Also a brilliant nod to the fact that the Academy Awards ceremony takes place in and is celebrated in Hollywood. 3. Those Palm Trees on that gorgeous gown also tie into the fact that Brilliantly Multi-Talented Zendaya Herself is a born and bred California Girl. Palm Trees are indigenous to California. 4. The pink silk of that wonderful gown of hers juxtaposed to the charcoal grey -near black of the Palm Tree Pattern is also relevant because it is giving BarbieHeimer, the hit duo of the 2023 year in cinema. Zendaya's ensemble is Genius-Level styling!

They are right. Zendaya just always! is the best dressed woman on the red carpet. I can't remember one single dress / outfit that didn't amaze me, especially at the Oscars! Really just in her own league ❤

I felt so bad when I watched the red carpet arrivals and Ariana Grande arrived, imagine you leave home in a beautiful gown, and before you even arrive at the event you have a costume malfunction and your air-bag inflates. She must have felt devastated.

Best dressed my foot! Except for Zendaya and Jennifer Lawrence, the men looked like bums and most of the women looked like they shopped at a Halloween costume boutique! Even Emily Blunt who is always classy and stunning at the red carpet didn’t quite nail it. Ladies, next time, before you don something, ask yourselves, would Grace Kelly wear this, is this appropriate for my age and shape? Because let’s face it, none of you is Zendaya! And the winners, what the! I was rooting for Carey Mulliigan, didn’t like her gown but she’s a winner still in my book.
