DUDE! I’m so happy I subscribed to your channel. I was feeding my pup 4Health puppy formula, my dog had soft runny stools and had a rash that I couldn’t get rid of. I made the switch to victor right after watching this and it’s a night and day difference! His stools are solid, nice and dark instead of light brown and runny. And his rash is all but gone, after just 2 DAYS. Thanks so much, definitely listening to your advice from now on.

But great video and I love your dogs

I use Diamond products for my dog primarily the kibble they make for Costco. So far it is really good. My Corgi/ mini Aussie mix has a fantastic coat and good amount of lean muscle mass. The previous owner used to give her Purina Pro Plan, and she only weighed 15 lbs. She gave her a lot more servings per meal, but the dog couldn’t gain weight. The Purina Pro Plan was mostly grain. My dog gained 5 lbs. just by switching to a Diamond product from Costco. I’ve started to add raw egg, chicken liver, hearts, and gizzards to her meals in small amounts too.

Just went out and bought a bag of Victor and sportsmix. Thanks for your info!

Victor is the best ! I have gone through everything for my Great Pyrenees and XL Bully and this is by far been the most successful !

What victor would you recommend? The breeder I got my pups from feeds his dogs the purple bag, I went to buy some and they only had the yellow bag. My male is fine, but my female scratches alot so im wondering if its from the food. Ive read the blue bag is for a little higher preforming dogs. Thoughts?

I've been using blue buffalo wilderness for puppies. Started with the chicken grain free but she wasn't crazy about it. Switched up to the beef one and she loves it. 7 months old and she's about 48lbs. You can see her muscles and shiney coat.

You are right about diamond having the poop all mushy. I have my girl currently on blue buffalo but probably going to switch up to victor and mix with one of lower brand. Thanks! 🙏🏽

Sport mix got recalled this past week. I definitely can see a difference between Blue Buffalo and pedigree or nutrina type chows. I have mixed pedigree with boiled chicken, rice, broth, and a few vegetables; one of my dogs turns her nose up at pedigree by itself.

Like yourself I mainly feed raw, I always have kibble on hand, I use it so food is always available. A put out a small amount of kibble each day just in case the dogs want a snack if I am out.

For working retrievers, I feed the highest fat, highest protein kibble on the market: Red Paw Poweredge 32k. First ingredient is menhaden. A favorite kibble among mushers up here in interior Alaska. Expensive but worth it...525 kcal/cup.

I use Sportmix black bag with a pedigree beef wet and some bullymax total health in it and my dogs fills out great on just that all year round.

I’m in love with the bully max brand with blue buffalo wilderness. I give her pre and probiotics, omega 3 fish oil, and collagen. Those along with semi annual chlorhexidine soaks. I’ve had three pit bulls in my life time but nala is the first one I experienced with skin issues.

I love my Coomore Boerboel. Great health, great speed while running, tons of muscle and lean without having to obsess on his diet. Working dogs aren't bred with food allergies.

I have tried all brands for over 30 years for my hunting dogs and Victor is the best! They look and perform great. On it. Stool clean up is true lol

Just started my 1.5 yr old boxer on the sport mix.

Can you make a video explaining what you look for when selecting kibble. For example: AFCO statement? Ingredients? Nutrition facts? Etc.

I go with victor grain free really helped my bully with her weight gain and allergies tremendously. The only down fall imo is that it's too expensive at almost 60 dollars for a 30 pound bag

My bandogge came to me on diamond and the poop and gas was outrageous. I was using Pro Pac for years as it helped my allergy prone older beagle mix I had, but she's crossed over the bridge last year.

Tried out victor 2 days ago and my dogs love it and he hasn't changed there poop or anything like that

Well I feed Victor mixed with sportmix just started my dog on I bought the blue bag of sports mix they seem to love it

I’ve been using diamond 💎 For about six months now my dogs really like it

Really appreciate this video I like the fact that you associate the dog food with the poop outtake a lot of people don't realize the intake of the food will come back to harm you when they poop it out 😂

Just switched to Victor Senior Healthy weight coming from Hills Science Diet. Can't believe our vet convinced us that Hills was the best. After reading all the horror stories we had to get away. I also feel much better supporting a brand coming from my home state😁

My breeder was feeding my bully puppy chow. As he got around 5 months he began developing skin allergies and skin infections. His hair was shedding like crazy. My vet started antibiotics and cleared it up. I changed to blue buffalo puppy and the difference in his skin and coat is amazing!

I think it's just allergies my bullys mom owner fed her raw and Purina dog chow. She's buff and healthy no health problems also shiny skin am giving my 11 week old bully puppy chow and he's fine but I mix it with raw foods to add extra healthy benefits especially organs like liver and fish oil

Overall all dog chow is healthy in the comment above I made it sound like Purina was not so healthy which is why I mix it. I mix raw to help my dogs get bigger

Victor use to be my fave family until they started putting blood meal conventionally dried ingredient in most of the formulas then I switched to diamond naturals but I still know breeders that still love it no matter what 🤷🏾‍♂️

What are your thoughts on Retriever dog food as a whole? They make a few different kinds ranging from puppy food to the basic formula with the minimum protein and fat that Purina has. I normally go back and forward between SportsMix 24/20 black bag and Diamond 24/20 high energy. Been wanting to try the Retriever brand as it is a big seller in Tracker Supply mainly to people who have hunting does or more than two or three dogs. I recently switched my pup to the puppy food mixed with diamond puppy because they where growing to fast on diamond alone. I want to try it with my big dogs just curious to know what are your thoughs.

I use retriever mostly for mix with a poop solidified like Victor for example. Other wise I Get purée poop

You 100% right with that poop victor keeps the poop hard which I like it’s easier to clean plus it’s high in protein the diamond had my dogs stool soft

I was told about ValuPak dog food for my bully pup. Black Bag. Do you have any input about that brand?

Have you tried Valu-pale 28-20 or 30-20 ? I think victor makes it .

Have you ever heard of Redford naturals? It’s a little expensive but it’s good for my bully’s allergies

People swear by Victor, I have 5 Bullies and an English Bulldog and a Frenchie and a Mastiff and Victor gives them all runny black stools and makes them shed hair like crazy.

QBN what's your thoughts on raw foods. I heard you mention you do raw meat diet. I've spoken with several vets they claim it can be bad, but I also feel they tell you certain things to sell you stuff. I've also been told raw meat can cause dogs to develop a taste for blood. I was trying to talk my wife into having our dogs ears groomed and it was your video on grooming ears and the myths like ear infections etc. The helped us make that Decision. Can you please help us. At first I feel it took a step back. Don’t know if they changed anything but I have 1 dog on it and she is doing very well.

I have an 8wk pocket bully. Im gonna try Victor red bag and Sportmix blk bag at 50/50. Im also gonna add your gorilla milk. Gonna stick to that year round. Is there anything else you recommend? I see you add raw to kibble too, my question to that is how much raw? Thx in advance.
