One question: what will happen to the remote control if its battery loses its capacity over time? Would it go to landfill?
Great information, mate. The poles do look very well made, so that's great to see. However, I think my issue with all of these table clamps is that they are not inset enough so that when the table is pushed all the way up to the wall there is still enough room for the light at the top to actually rotate. The pole is to close to the wall in other words. Do you know if Neewer or Elgato versions have a better inset? OR… do you feel the inset on this is actually better than I'm thinking it might be?
Can you tell me if your eyes strain after working with the Godox ES45 for a long time? What is their minimum brightness? Are they as good for your eyes as the Godox 260LEDPC?
Do you have to use two of them for face (portrait) videos?
Em i have this light its very good build. but if i set to 1 % its to bright for me. i cant set birghtnes at 0.5.. witg the remote control. if i use an app. i cant set to 0.3 but the lamp is off. only at 1 proc its turns on..
Do you think you could use this for top down unboxing videos? Im stuck between this or lume cube edge. What do you think? Thanks for the review

You certainly could but the line cube look to have a better mount for top down. I’d say the es45 are better in terms of light output though. But you could easily add an extension rod to get better top down cover of a desk
Amazing quality with the Sony ZVE. do you shoot at f/1.4?

He mentioned he was shooting at f2.0. 1.4 is too much, imo, because your arms end up looking blurred from the super shallow depth of field.

one thing that i wanted to know that i don't believe you talked about is does it work with the Es30 so the Es45 and the es30 does it work together like on the app ?

My es45, ul60 and cl10 all work on the same app so I’m pretty sure the es30 will work with them
Uh don't you think that's kinda PETTY!! that it didn't come with straps for your wire/cords? Dude you bought 2 lights for the price of 1!!!
