I know this is old but for City I took the 4 City Hive Mind and Robbie and 1 shot all 4 nodes. And in the Legendary section I 1 shot all 4 of those nodes with Nova, Black Cat, Doc Ock, Green Goblin Classic, and Old Man Logan. Logan just goes off and doesn't stop. He made those nodes a breeze. Even at only 4 yellow and 2 red Stars. Didn't even use Apocalypse.

Did Gambit, Sunspot, Forge, SW, and Apoc for my first global run and didn’t do more than 5 attacks for a node. And that was for the boss node

City: Robbie & Hardlight, then Gwenom, Carnage, and Red Goblin... TORE through city. I built SM Big Time for a better spread of gear, was getting roughed up, then ponied up and swapped him out for Gwenom- destroyed the rest of City.

I am going through DD6 for the first time right now. Doom is TRASH! Only because things like Deathpool and Archangel are on every node, it really destroys his bots and wipes your team out.

I am so glad I didn’t invest in Doom. People keep saying you need him for DD6 but I’m not seeing his usefulness.

@notthe1_orthe2 yeah all he is good for is his cleanse and heal. Requires a lot of ability points and is more a liability than help. You may need him for DD7 though for the mythic section

Took a break.. my first 5 are Red Hulk, MLF, Apocalypse, Kestrel, and Kang and already have Gambit as well. Void Knight and Black Knight are close next.

Black Knight at 4ys + 4rs with Apoc, Gambit, Cap America, Spider-Weaver at LVL 97 helped me 2 shot the last node of global on my 1st run.

He's a character I'm hoping to test soon. Unfortunately those Arcane pieces are eluding me. I'm glad to hear that he's done well in the nodes.

F2P IMO View: I'd like to give a shout out to the VASTLY underrated Lizard in City. Combined with Robbie, Hard Light, Vulture and Kraven, Lizard surpassed my expectations completely. (City took me 5, 3, 3 attacks) - I actually think Hard Light is the MOST replaceable from those nodes, but she's cheap and on a good team, and there's really no one better. If I was starting TODAY, I might even consider Spider Slayer, not for DD6 specifically, but just for the Sup Six team in general. Point being, Lizard was fantastic for me. For upgrades for run 2: Global I am bringing up Gambit for sure, (Running Apoc, Gambit, Doom, Spider Weaver, Cap Am) - Though I'd also consider replacing Weaver or Cap with Quicksilver. For Cosmic, Running Kang, Vahl, Kestrel... Bringing up Super Skrull, and considering adding Heartless to give the 2 villain/2 hero balance for Skrull - Currently have BRB and Photon. I think Deathpool and Void Knight are reasonable, but just don't think I'd replace anyone else with them. City was a cakewalk as was, so I am making no changes, and my Legendary was Doc Ock, Omega, Nova, GGC, and Black Cat. Also not planning on making any changes there, though I was pretty underwhelmed with Black Cat - I put her in the Hard Light category - No one really better, and she's on a good team for other modes.

I'm stuck at building my city characters. The unique gears are killing me.

Yeah that and the Hero unique's are usually the bottleneck.

I used Dormammu and it has good synergy with Vahl in terms of healing after revive.

Is red goblin look like he would be a worthy character for city

He will get you through it. He is a raid character so he is definitely important. It's just about can you spare the bio gear.

My Vulture is lvl 1, do you think he is still a good option to bring up? I feel like that’s a waste of resources at this point and I should pivot to someone else (maybe just Spider Slayer)

My bad. Kestrel, Kang, Vahl, Void Knight and if you have the bio gear to spear Photon after that it get's really scarce

Is quicksilver good for global nodes?

Why Vulture in city over Spider Slayer? May pivot but was planning on slayer…

You are not going to hey much out slayer. Vulture does a great deal of damage and also gets speed up on enemy kill. The slow from his special and turn meter rewind from his ult are also very good.

I just finished up my first round of DD6, now I’m trying to figure out who to bump up for the second round.

I would opt for another character over Mysterio if not Lizard. Mysterio is a very nuanced play after Dark Dimension.

What do you think about building the rescue for Global?

It could work but Carnage and Venom are very expensive for a first run. Not just on the Spores but the mini uniques.

Ive been re running dd6 for the frames and currently I'm using red goblin, gwenom, Robbie, firestar and kraven and it's working very well so I'm sure it'll be way better with the extra bleeds/synergy

Just about every character I need to build upto 18 , MSF wants 20 dollars. It's gonna be awhile before I can play DD6.

Should i skip big boy apoc znd just go for super skrull? I didn't started yet for big boy apoc and just hoarded resources.

I was thinking of doing the same thing about a month ago did the first node of dd6 with small apoc and got big boy apoc by the time I was ready for the second node and the difference in power was phenomenal

It's not going to be smooth but good characters. The idea of building for dark Dimension is about building for what you need outside of it and choosing the best options out of that

doom is getting reworked soooooo

Gwenom is such a no brainer

Not necessarily. You have to balance out gear with other characters that you need to bring in. Its about what helps you in other game modes and is easier on spreading out your gear.
