Is there a way to use the rear camera with a switch rather than the reverse? I want to mount it at the rear bumper to keep and eye on the tow hitch time to time.

Looks nice but definitely where you have it mounted in your car obstructs the drivers view big time but other it’s definitely nice

How dose the music sound? dose it sound better then factory radio or better?

I have this but I have a 2018 mustang ecboost with the 4*inch display this thing is really awesome. However this stays on when I turn off my vehicle because it is a push button start…it eventually goes off after a couple hours but I’m sure this can’t be good for the battery so annoyingly I have been unplugging it each time. Is there a way to have it shut off when I turn off the vehicle with push button start?

Starting from off, turn car on and then immediately put the car into reverse, how long before the rear view camera is displayed to aid in reversing?

How does this compare to the $100 Seicane device that is also a dashcam with carplay and android auto and backup camera? The device itself looks pretty well identical to the Seicane device.

Any suggestion if the suction mount won’t stick to the dash?

Will I be able to use my own power plug to this unit?

you can use FM radio "Car radio can connect to the FM Transmitter frequency-to-frequency wireless transmission, which just need to keep the same channel with the original FM radio. All sounds will be sent to the original car speaker for play."

Yea although the speaker isn’t the best, it’s not loud enough

How long is the arm for suction cup. Have bmw 335i with no idrive. The dash on this 2012 is kinda weird and I’d want kind of a short arm so I can kind of have it to low a off dash but stay close to it. Other options for install are to cut a hole in the dash!

Well if you use the original one that comes with it, it is super short. At the beginning of the video, it is the non-suction cup short one.

I’m doing the same too my 2011 328i. I’m going too 3m tape right above the vents take off the suction mount so it sits flush and run the wires behind the vent trim nice and organized also I would purchase a longer aux cable if you want too hide it down through the console it may cover the camera but I think you can do it where it looks fabricated real nice this is my second option for my 3 series and I think it’s simple and easily removable for us non idrive guys 👍🏼

I use the carplay but the WiFi is not working when connected with carplay

If your car comes with a back up camera and you install this back up camera, do both cameras work or is the original one disabled

not sure what you mean by original camera, but rear camera and front camera will work

Have one of these, I'm having problems with the audio quality. The audio being sent through the 3.5mm jack is very flat and is driving me crazy with my nice stereo setup.

Bluetooth audio is far superior to aux 3.5 mm

Does it boot up automatically each time the car is started? How long is boot up time?

Yes it is a set it and forget it device. It was about 10 seconds for me.

Only audio.....I have the Sling TV App on my iPhone and listen to news channels. You have to step up to a more expensive unit that has a feature called "Mirror Link" to get video. @@sdzvlogs2731

Maybe Bluetooth, the device connects to the car stereo and your phone connects to it

Too bad it has screws needs to be more easily removable imo

Can't connect this to my car stereo via bluetooth without a firmware update. And that doesn't work. Looks great but personally won't recommend this.
