Depending on how old you are metal very well probably was stronger when you were younger. Metals get mixed & mixed & nowadays they purposely use cheaper metals to save money

Why is this getting recommended to me right after my dentist appointment?

As a former engineering major, watching things get smushed in a hydraulic press and watching things get made in factories (even mundane stuff like deodorant. Look it up) are massive guilty pleasures of mine

I mean, the moose bone makes sense. Those things are easily hit half a ton. Add momentum, acceleration, and force transfer to it, and I bet that bone was biologically engineered to withstand well over a ton of pressure.

Your body will always work at a 70% of full capacity at max, unless it's an urgency where the adrenaline kicks in... hence, inhibiting the limiter that restrains your body from working at full capacity. I may be repeating myself, but just to be clear... As I said, it's a safety measure because you could damage your body pretty bad if you forced it to... I dunno, lift a car or chew a bone as an example, those are possible to do in an urgency, but your muscles, tendons and bones would suffer really bad consequences.
