  • @theindiancaptains

    @theindiancaptains

    Living cost would depend if your staying close to city or outskirts. Most schools do provide accommodation in your package, which should be around 500$+/month (approx). Apart from that other expenses like food and transportation could be around 200$ (it again depends from person to person how they spend). You could survive in a lesser amount, cooking by yourself.

    Yes you can do that. Just keep in mind that the requirement in India for the issue of CPL is 200 total hours on aircraft. You would need 100 hours PIC time, IR 40 hours and 50 hours XC PIC time to be able to convert your license. Just work that out with your flight school before going there. Also it's better if you have any Indian student who has graduated from that school and successfully converted his/her license in India. That will negate all your doubts. Good luck !!

    Hey Shreya ! You can look to do from either of the countries. Some schools offer lesser. South Africa is pretty reasonable that way. Current market is around 35-40. So you need to look well.
