Its like a personal air cooler built in a pedestal fan shape. All personal air coolers are similarly priced, that's why I can't say that it is overpriced

This cannot cool a room, and it is only meant for a single person's use. And you can reduce the speed while on call and it shouldn't be a problem

If humidity is already high, and your room is not ventilated, then just use a fan. Coolers will increase humidity and you'll end up feeling worse.

@@VMone So, in North India it would roughly last 20-30 mins at max during day and an hour in the night. That's again one more con for it. I really like the cooler but it would be nice if could've come with a Insulation like in a ice box and a larger capacity to store Ice. So that is could last atleast 3-4 hours.

Pump will start behaving mysteriously in almost all Desert coolers if you keep them off for a long time. This isn't the case here.
