Best Climates in Mexico

Were you wondering about Mexico Climate? Or were you thinking about where are the best climates in Mexico? Or maybe it came into your mind that you wanted to know where is the best weather in Mexico?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the video for you because in this video we are going to talk about the climates in Mexico.
As most of you may know, I have lived in Mexico for a little more than seventeen years. I have lived in Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Chapala, Ajijic and a couple of more places. Each and every one had a different climate. Climate in Mexico is really different all over Mexico. If you are thinking about visiting Mexico, moving to Mexico or buying in Mexico, you really need to take a good look at the various types of climates in Mexico. There are many and they are all very different. Of course you are thinking about the best place to live in Mexico and this is all going to be about Mexico Climate. And, I am sure you are asking yourself where are the best climates in Mexico or where is the best weather in Mexico. I guess it depends on the type of weather that you like. Everyone is different.
The climate in Guadalajara is very different than the climate in Puerto Vallarta. The climate and air quality in Ajijic is very different than the climate and air quality in Mazatlan. So if you are thinking about let us say maybe living in Mazatlan or maybe you are planning your move to Mexico then you really want to take a look at the many different forms of Mexico Climate.
Oh, I am sorry, I am Bill the Geek and this is the Bill Dallas Lewis Channel and I thank you for dropping by.

Why do u hate humidity? Humidity is good because we won't be in dry areas cuz if it does not rain for a long time, it gets dry

Thx for the video Bill ! Cold temps kill bugs and deter bacteria... Other than the extra shower prep time cooler climates seem far better for me... hate bugs... Can always go to beach anytime and get that out of my system...

Hi LJ, I like it here in Mazatlan, I have only been here for 6 weeks now. Went to the beach last night with my drone and it was very nice. I think I will be ok here. No Scorpians here. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Hi Bill! Thank you very much for this Mexican weather orientation! My wife and I are open to consider the various climates in Mexico. I would definitely like to consider a coastal area. But, I know that high heat and humidity are not as favorable to us. But, if you have access to water, that can be mitigated (pool and/or ocean). So, since we were able to get some time off for work on the first part of September, we are coming to your area in Mazatlan. The goal was to see it when it is warm; and then we will know that it will only be better for the rest of the year. I feel that we would ultimately be just part timers, initially. So, we really only need to find a spot that works for us, and we can use that as a base camp to keep exploring. A goal for this first trip is 1) to decide if Mexico would be our expat destination, and 2) check out a coastal part of Mexico in the hot season. If we did a second exploratory trip, it will probably be to a central highland area such as Oaxaca, Queretaro, Guanajuato …..and for some reason, I am intrigued by Mexico City. So, we shall see. Have an awesome week!

Hi Alan, Sounds like you have a very good plan and it really makes sense. I did a video with a guy named Frazier a few weeks ago. He is from Cleveland and now lives in Mazatlan. He loves Mexico City the most of all of Mexico. I haven´t been there for about 40 years. Anyway, good luck with your plan. Best, Bill

I turn on the AC for about 5 minutes, the room get very chilly and then I turn it off. All is good. I don´t think that just ceilling fans will cut it for me. Hope that helps, Best, Bill

Hi Bill. Great content. I wonder if you might speak to this question about how steps are generally built there. Do most have no railings? The reason I asked is because I can walk well but can lose my balance on steps, even 3 or 4. I notice some apartments there have a second floor with no railing at all.

  • @BillDallasLewis

Hi Tammie, Railings and walking throughout Mexico is a big problem. I guess in the US, if there is a drop off somewhere, there must be a rail. In Mexico it is like if there is a drop off and no rail, then it is like,,,,,,, Good Luck. You will be walking in some places and there will be a big hole in the sidewalk that you can fall in to. It is just like,,,,,,, Good Luck. When walking in Mexico you must always keep your eyes open. Best, Bill

We are snowbirds in Ajijic and we think the climate there is just about the best you can get. It can be a little cool first thing in the mornings in January and the first half of February but outside of those 6 weeks the temperatures are good for us. Even in January it warms up in the afternoons quite nicely and by the end of February we are swimming in the pool. It's also nice that we don't need either heat or AC all year round and that really does keep the utility bills low One thing I know for sure the heat and humidly of a Mexican coastal summer would be unbearable for my British wife, she thinks the summers in southern Ontario Canada where we raised our family are unbearably hot and humid. In fact she complains it's too hot in Ajijic by the end of April but the ceiling fans are usually all the cooling we need. Still, if you really are a heat fiend then the coasts will fulfill that need. Us, we like the more moderate temperatures in the central highlands and being able to open the windows wide every day all year.
