Oh I wish everyday, the 70s and 80s were the best of my childhood. Everyone lived peacefully.

I had no worries, and so much energy.

Christmas in the 70's and 80's was a true Christmas magic but now I see alot of humbugs in 2018.

They still use that Hershey kiss bells commercial to this day

One thing about being an 80s kid you grew up watching all these excellent 1980s Christmas movies, commercials, Christmas cartoons, tv shows and everything else when it came to the holidays on television. Miss those fun great, awesome wonderful memories. For this year I think I'm going to ask Santa if he can give me the biggest Christmas present ever, waitress we all go back to the 1980s and live our childhood all over again.

One thing I can say about Christmas commercials in the 80s and 90s it wasn't about selling stuff it was actually about the holidays to put you in the mood. Now Christmas commercials today have no heart it's only about what you can sell, thank you for putting this up

Don't kid yourself. It's always been about selling stuff. Doesn't bother me though, I love these old commercials.

I was born in 83 and remember some tv from the 80's and of course the 90's. T.V today sucks compared to then. It's pretty bad when even COMMERCIALS are better. In this era it's mostly commercials about some drug with horrible side effects with actors smiling.

I’d say it’s because the government has tried for years to remove merry Christmas and change it to happy holidays. There are no feelings of warm ness or happiness in commercials today, especially Christmas ones

I wanna go back to these days......

Back when commercials were all about putting you in holiday spirit. They just don't make them like they used to.

Wish it was like again! Its been nice to remember how it use to be! 😏

I still have the Disney Christmas stuffed characters from Hardees. I recently found them along with some old star wars characters in my parents attic.

That Folgers ad.....my granny liked Folgers.

The Hershey's Kiss Bell ad at timestamp 0:55 ....pure simplicity in it's ideas and creation made it the best Xmas ad ever. Always the best stand by to go to in a pinch during the Xmas retail/holiday season. =)

Jello jigglers with Bill Cosby! That's when you know a commercial is old!🤣

I was an 80s kid, and although I remember most of the products featured in these commercials, I only distinctly remember the Hardee's Disney toys (I collected the entire set, plus some other toy collectibles they came out with later on), and the Campbell's soup commercial where the snowman melts and is actually a boy (which I always thought was a bit weird). I have to say, though, that Christmas commercials back in the 80s gave me a nice warm fuzzy feeling, that many of today's Christmas commercials don't. It's really sad!

They tried real hard in the 90s to make us children think that Jello Jigglers were an actual, tasty option for a snack. Turns out Jello in shapes is still Jello. The worst were the eggs that were just giant balls of lemon Jello.

Feeling nostalgic and watching this in the final moments of New Year's Day. The holidays are officially over. It's sad, but there's plenty to look forward to in 2021 🤞

weird how "Junk Food" is so skinny isnt he suppose to be over weight? he looks more malnourished then someone who eats to much junk food. the Campbells kids look chubbier even.....i never got that commercial! lol
