    I bought this last year and I love it! I live on a military base where the cleaning is not what it should be. I used this on my patio to get rid of the build up of dirt and mold. The results left freshly poured looking patio. I an always finding things to clean with this. Great little machine!

    I just bought this about this couple of days ago from Home Depot. I haven't had to chance to really use it to wash my car since it's about to rain. But I do like your honest and fair review of it. I also agree about wishing they did some better with storing the power cord. But for the price and mobility that's something that can be looked over.

    No, it shouldn't as its rated at 13 amp. I use mine on a 20-amp breaker and have never had an issue. Typically, the only time I trip the breaker on any tools I use are larger table saws and miter saws that are rated at 15 amp.

    What tip did you use for the car? Was it the orange tip that came with it? Any recs for different tips to use for car washing?

  • @TeamDIYNow

    @TeamDIYNow

    5 ай бұрын

    No, it was not the orange tip (don't use for a car as its too high of pressure since it is a 15 degree tip). Of the 2 tips that come with the pressure washer, the yellow oscillating one is the only one you should use for washing a car. You could maybe get away with the orange one washing a car since it's an 1800 psi washer, but I personally wouldn't risk it. With that said, I prefer a tip with a 40 degree tip (will be white) for washing a car which doesn't come with this washer. Here are a few options for some additional tips amzn.to/3NYCke3 or amzn.to/3vCtUTy . Hope this helps.

  • @TeamDIYNow

    @TeamDIYNow

    I used the same 1.2 pressure washer for both, but did use different tips. If you notice the first paver (04:37), I show example of power washer still building pressure vs the second paver at full pressure. It takes a good minute for this thing to build pressure before you get max output. I wanted to show that as I have saw negative reviews where people turn on and say it's not strong enough.

    So mine came with the turbo nozzle and the 15 degree nozzle, for vehicles I would wanna use the 15 degree nozzle?

  • @TeamDIYNow

    @TeamDIYNow

    Ай бұрын

    The 15-degree nozzle may be too much pressure for washing a vehicle. In fact, if you used a 15-degree nozzle with a higher 3000 PSI washer you could potentially strip paint off a plastic bumper, trim etc (I accidently did this years ago!). If picking one of the included tips, use the turbo for general applications like washing cars and the 15 degree for higher pressure applications like cleaning siding, etc. With that said, a 40-degree tip is always the recommended one for cars but unfortunately isn't included...here are a few options for $5 or so: amzn.to/3VlOr9q or amzn.to/3R67gLk

    Not much foam. Is it the pressure washer or your foam cannon? Type of soap?

  • @TeamDIYNow

    @TeamDIYNow

    Жыл бұрын

    Yea I talk about this in the video where I prefer to not have thick foam when washing cars. Dirt easily beads off a car when you find balance of water/foam so you're not dragging it across the paint vs thick foam that just sits on car with the dirt waiting for you to drag it across the paint while washing. Its the same mixture most touchless car wash systems use as well to quickly get dirt off the car to prepare for the next step. With that said the foam cannon I used has the ability to adjust as you wish if you want thicker foam.

    Car detailing tip. Lower the psi to 1100 psi and raise the gpm to close to 1.5 gpm simply by changing out the 40° & 30° nozzles for one with a 2.5 orifice. For more foam, change out the foam cannon orifice to a 1.1 orifice

This is talked about in the manual that it takes a few minutes to build pressure...not sure if this is what you are referring to or if you experienced a different issue?

As of today, I have washed my cars a total of 26 times and it still works great. For $99 on sale or the regular price of $139 this has already far exceeded my expectations.

    To be honest, I didn't have very high expectations of a $99 pressure washer as well. With that said, 1 year later and washing cars 35+ times and general cleaning around the house this thing has been great. It's not gna replace a 3000-psi gas washer for siding and driveways with surface cleaners etc, but to be fair it's not claiming to replace as its rated for general applications at 1800 psi. As long as you take care of it (remove water in lines before storing for winter, etc) and only need for general cleaning as mentioned in this video this washer is hard to beat.
