    I accidentally hooked up a direct power servo, and sent a full 12 volts through one of those dumbo receivers. Honestly couldn't believe it didn't smoke. I keep them for when my son's friends come over. At this point they are 4 years old. Got them when they were still 20$.... But their prices now are getting out of hand. Somewhere along that chain someone is putting 20$ a piece in their pocket.

    Great review. I love my RC4GS V2. It's good to see that there really isn't much latency. The price is great and it just works good. Thanks for going over the receivers. I have just been getting the ones with gyro but it's good to know that there is a less expensive option. I really don't use gyro either. 👍👍

    Hi. Does Dumbo X6F receiver work with this one? Also if you use this remote on all your cars. Can you still use the original ones sometimes? For example if I am running two cars with my daughter. I would have to use the original remote on the second car.

    I’m learning with you and here is what I came up with. For each model slot you can connect a maximum of 3 receivers. So basically you can have 30 cars tied to a controller that has 10 model slots like the Radio Link RC4GS. From what I can tell this only applies to a radio with 6 channels or less. Unfortunately I think the radio and receiver have to be the same brand. @@Themlpg73

    Yeah man this cheap remote is my favorite... I'm a basher so I don't need 90% of what it does.... But I love the 30 models option, saves my settings, it's fast, great range, and I like how I can set how progressive I have the steering for when I do ramp hits😎👍😱

    @@3SonsRC I am considering this radio to switch from my spektrum dx3r. Do you think this radiolink is as good as the spektrum in regards to the latency? Also, now that I am running HV servos in all my electric cars ( as opposed to 6v in my glow powered cars) I am concerned that my dx3r isn't allowing the 7.4v to get to my servo in my electric car. Does the dx3r/ sr3100 recievers not support HV servos?

    @@thatoneguy2756 I'm pretty sure the dx3r does not support higher Bec. I have one, was a gift, set it up with I think the same servo you used, it worked for two minutes on higher Bec for test, tried again two days later and it was shot! I abandoned that Transmitter. Speed I'm not sure.... This Radiolink is plenty fast.... I know it's faster than the specs posted because it's same Tec and DumboRC. For the price it's cheap 3nough to Just try,.... I think you will love it

    @@3SonsRC OK so I had a chance to try out the rc4gs v3 in my e buggy. The distance the rc4gs v3 is capable of is far beyond what I will need. The response felt very similar to my dx3r/sr3100 reciever combo. Expo works well on both steering and brakes as I commonly run negative expo on these depending on how much coffee I had. The only thing I don't like is how slim the rc4gs v3 grip is particularly at the top. I am gonna have to do some padding of some sort to fit this to my 2XL hand size. Just curious, are you wanting to let that dx3r go?

    Could you have two of these transmitters connected to same car? So if you have a few RC rigs and there are two of you using them you can connect to one and the other person can still be able to connect to a different RC rig. My daughter and I often go out together to test my repair skills so we share all of the RC rigs and having just two transmitters would be great if that is even possible 🤷‍♂️. As you well know what each persons choice of rig of the day is always different as they are all great fun. Hope i explained it properly. Keep up the great work

    been using 6gs since it came out, 7 ch rx with gyro, amazing range and even farther with the 8ch rx. not to mention id seed , super easy fpv set up plug n play , tanks , excavators etc it will run anything. and even v1 can run as many rx as you want as long as your models are set up the same. v1 is 10 model memory and im running 44, been in rc since 1974 and i have futaba $$$$$$ tx ,, jr propo etc. and by far the mixing capabilities crush the competitors. waterproof your 4 and 5ch rx with conformal coating. easy to do. check out radiolink for how to setup many functions.

    I don't have that dumborc you mentioned, just the basic one everyone has, and I got frustrated with the lack of model memory, so I have not compared. I'd search KZread I'm sure someone has done a video comparing. But Radiolink is the parent technology for DumboRC, so radiolink is the premium from what I know.... Great value. The rc4gs is a great value but not sure if there are better cheap options now. Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round

  • @3SonsRC

    Not sure bud that's not really my thing, but I KNOW you can set up a specific throttle curve per RC so if you slam the throttle off the start it won't go full throttle and just spin out, you can set the increase that makes sence for you.... If that's what your asking then Yes, you can, Hope that helps brother, and that your enjoying the channel, see ya round

  • @3SonsRC

    @3SonsRC

    Жыл бұрын

    I don't think so bro, radiolink only shows compatible on the website with the receivers that I posted in the video. DumboRC is a subsidiary company but definitely just some shared Tec not compatibility as far as I know. Would be great because I too have the dumborc receivers in like 6 of my rigs, but I will be pulling them gradually, good news is the cheap ones are like 12 bucks, and even the expensive 7 channel with water resistance is like $25,not too bad. The Dumborc receivers don't have water resistance either. Appreciate your time brother, see ya round
