Best Chamonix Hikes: Lac Blanc and Grand Balcon Sud, June 2022
2/5 A short series of videos about some of the best hikes in the Chamonix valley.
This is the second in the series and takes you from the Flegere ski lift in north Chamonix Mont Blanc, and climbs to the stunning Lac Blanc. From there, we encounter chamois and ibex and head down to Argentiere.

Ah mon gars à l’âge de 10 ans je montais ce chemin avec mes parents. Mais c’était une autre époque, nous étions capables d’efforts prolongés et nous contentions de peu de choses. La vallée de Chamonix que j’ai arpenté plus de 10 ans de long en large reste aujourd’hui mes meilleurs souvenirs. Dans le coin il y a le lac cornu, plus haut et plus sauvage. Mais la plus belle vue sur la chaîne est vraiment celle du lac blanc. Nous allions jouer sur les névés, l’un nous un jour a plongé dans le lac. Mais au mois d’août.

Je ne m'ennuie jamais de Chamonix, il y a tellement de choses à explorer et c'est différent à chaque saison.
