Okay so I think I was a bit off with my £100 estimate but it’s still relatively low priced when you think most scanners with this capability are £1000s

Yes it is brilliant. I bought one in August 2022 and it has been very cool.

Working for a popular breakdown company, I use a Bosch diagnostic scanner every day. Mostly for reading codes, looking at live data, force regens etc, to sort most things that go wrong at the roadside. Our kit is like £2.5k, but by the looks of it that launch can do all that? Crazy. Is that request regen a forced regen too?

I bought a crp919e 10 months ago for the price i paid for it does alot of functions im happy with it only problem its wired but the new crp919bt has bluetooth.

Just got the 919E, it does key coding, speed limit removal and mileage adjustment. Great bit of kit for 290 squids of fleabay

Autel MX 900, the 808 is way too slow, Launch are ok too, LAUNCH X431 CRP919E Elite OBD2 Scanner, 2023 on par with MX900, prefer Autel as a company.

Can it code LM2 Module from E60 to get that US Sidemarkers always on? Also auto mirror folding? That "basic" stuff in BMWs?

Seems expensive, guess you’ve gotta spend a few quid for a decent scan tool but always hoped you would get something like this for something like 150 notes. Would love to know how you got hold of ista/whatever it’s called and how much that would cost for the average joe to get hold of 👍

Ista isn't difficult to get. Ista is difficult to learn and use. It's not difficult if you have worked ten years with solving technical problems on cars.

£100 find me one that price, £469 cheapest one I can find. No wonder it’s all singing and dancing with loads of options. Check prices correct before doing a review.😂

If I’m honest both seemed on par with each other in terms of functionality so maybe compare the specs of both👍🏻

I got bmw 630i 2008 model, millage 82k 6 months ago. Since I bought, it has rough idle when the engine is cold and no fault codes coming at all. Is there any help before I set a fire to the car, please 😂? Things are I did so far • Cleaned the injectors. • Cleaned the throttle body. • Changed all spark plugs. • Changed all ignition coils. • Changed Mas air sensor. • Cleaned Solenoid sensor. • Changed O2 the sensors. Even, I went to the church for pray:-) but the problem is still the same. Thanks in advance.

​@@GeorgeAustersVery good question. Not really, the garage checked one time and it's show missfire on cylinders 5 and 6. He changed spark plugs, ignition coils and cleaned the throttle body but notting change. He checked the injectors and said they r ok. Rest of the work, I did it myself. Is it possible to book an appointment from you, if u r from London? Many thanks.

I would expect it to do all that for £469! 😳

This is exactly the problem, and for 500 it doesn't solve all problems. As everything goes forward, I would love to see a list in the description box what it does and WHAT IT DOESN'T, if we consider "the most common and interesting things". George should have a check list of what you need to get info about and what problems you can solve. One "big" problem is that you need to have the interval of the values of all sensor, to know if they are faulty or not. This is the start! After reading the fault codes.

Yeah I've noticed prices have gone up quite a bit but then so have the top of the range scanners too.. They are £1000s now

Nice review but should have clicked your own link, shame about the price. I was looking at the Foxwell NT510 elite for my older Z3M as I believe you need an old laptop with a serial port to communicate with inpa
