NOCO has been around for a long time now, whereas all the other have changed names, or have disappeared. Hulkman sounds like a great jumper, but it's flashy ads and online presence has made me wonder if it's all just successful online campaign. But, I do think, all lithium based jumper are all the same, not to many have outright bad reviews that I know of.

It will do more. Let your car crank longer, power devices longer and start larger engines. My NOGO GB40 is rated at 1000A and works fine on my 3.2L 6 cylinder engine. But it is only rated for 6.0L for gas engines or 3.0L for diesel engines. The little box is perfect for me but for someone with larger engines or who want to use it camping to charge computers or phones it is too small.

avapow 6000a did not work for my cummins at 8v. the gooloo turned it over like it had fresh batteries.. shut it off and tried again with the avapow and it still wouldn't turn it over. cant even start my lawn mower if the volts are low off the avapow. would not buy again.

amiebennett6354 What good is a car if it won't run when it's out of gas? Oh, you maintain it by looking at the gauge on occasion? Do you not have a cell phone because the battery runs down? No, when the battery gets low, you charge it. Maybe every 6 months or so, check your battery booster.

NO, my booster is in a pouch along with its wires, NOW it sits in a tray in front of my shifter and is plugged in ALL the time. It's a piece of crap booster Michelin from Costco, I'll get a solid state one next it only requires a 5 to10 minute trickle charge from your battery to start your car, so if your car won't start it WILL charge the solid state capacitor@@boyracer3477

without a full set of specs, I would say the Hulkman or NOCO would be my choice because I have 3 large trucks. 2 of them are 7.3 diesels and one is a gasoline V-10. I doubt that either model would get it done for me with the diesels. When they need assistance, it's usually in -20* F or colder and they would need lots of attempts to overcome the cold fuel & oil. As a possible option for the Gas V-10 truck, one of them might be able to get it done. I have yet to find one of these products that can provide 1800 CCA below freezing. The skinny little wires would melt before it started a large diesel engine.

@@boyracer3477 Didn't say it would take 30 seconds, just that the unit doesn't have the capacity listed. I have an Audew booster. It does work for the intended quick boost. As per Project Farm, it's pretty good. In his test the amperage dropped from 300 to 200 amps in 4 seconds before shutting down. My thoughts are that if your engine will start with 135 -150 amps, you might get twenty or thirty seconds because you're using less than half of the power on tap.

I just watched a non-paid demonstration KZread video of a guy who has an impound yard full of old cars. It was 5 degrees outside and the cars were covered with a foot of snow. He started 6 of those vehicles, all with completely dead batteries, some which had not run in over a year but all had not run for extended times and they all started. He still had 25% left. This video is completely unfair. He must have cranked that car for 2-3 minutes which was the engines fault, not the NOCO GB40. That booster is all you will ever need for your car emergencies. You don't need a bigger one unless you have a very large diesel engine.

Only the HULKMAN Alpha85 ($149.99 at Amazon) and the NOCO Boost Plus GB40 ($99.95 at Amazon) had above average user ratings. The rest are mediocre, even the more expensive ones. Neither has a built-in light or a tire inflater=inflator. The Hulkman claims it can start with a totally dead battery. For those who need this feature, if it is true, the extra $50 over the NOCO would be worth it
